Good morning everyone. 2.5 days and I'm on a mini vacation, whohoo!! Who wants to head to Va and hang out with me??? :)
This poster is titled

Good Morning,
What a difference a day can make! The rain is gone as are the rather warm and humid late October day. The wind has picked up, the temperature much lower best of all sunshine and blue skies!
Meals planned, list in hand I'll be headed for the grocery store this morning and then on to the nail salon. A trip to DD's BF's apartment may be in store as well. Amid the turmoil with his job he was smack in the middle of redoing his kitchen. Months ago we had asked if his appliances were going if we could have his refrigerator for a 2nd refrigerator for our basement. It would really help to have some extra freezer space and extra space for times when we have company. DH is now this way and that way about how tos of getting it here and down to the basement. Wasn't an issue months ago now the time is here and I can't get a straight answer yes or no.
I haven't quite decided how I'm going to spend the rest of the day. I'm looking at an ironing pile, my winter clothes are still waiting for the closet and drawer space but there's also a book and a chair that looks good. I'll have to do some thinking.
That's about it from my small corner of the world. Hope everyone enjoys their day.

Letting go can be one of the very hardest things to do.
Everyone around here seems to have been bitten by a tsetse fly! All we want to do is sleep, eat, and sleep some more. A change in this gloomy, damp weather would help. I did get up and go to church. Got a cherry scone and Earl Grey tea to go at Panera, so I could take my cold med. Picked up Tim and enjoyed the service very much. We were going to go to brunch, but he woke up starved and pigged out on the hotel breakfast, so we decided against that. He was going to try to get some work done, but I just got an email that he's too tired and going to take a nap.
Rob pulled an all nighter so he could go surfing before sun-up, then stay up and supposedly get back on a normal bedtime schedule. He was already in bed asleep before I got back from church. Knew that would happen.
I wish Tim hadn't gotten 3 sumpreme, garlic crust pizzas last night. I have one in the oven cooking for lunch. They definitely give indigestion, but the crust is so good, and I was really craving pizza yesterday. Still craving it some today. I'm so bummed about the football game yesterday that I don't even feel like watching any today. I did get Rob to watch all but about the last 5 minutes of "Greyfriars Bobby" with me finally. I told him he missed the best part. I won't tell him what it was, so he'll have to watch.
I'd wanted to go see Dad today, but am afraid I'll give him my cold, which is the last thing he

Afternoon Ladies,

I really like that poster!
With the weather seasonably chilly, I'd love to go to VA!
After church, dropped the baby off at his paternal grandma's, picked up the dog from her 'slumber party' and then came home to crash! The baby ended up sleeping in our bed because he kept waking up and fussing in the playpen and grandma was too tired to do anything but just get him back to sleep :).
DH built a fire in the fireplace, and we've taken the dog out to play and for a walk. I did a little ironing, have laundry going, but am otherwise taking it easy. No working out today.
Dinner is fresh pasta with chicken jalapeno (lowfat) sausage and sauce made from our garden tomatoes.
Bedtime will be early tonight.....long week ahead.
