How did your first day of November go? Off to a great start or still sputtering at the starting line? There's always tomorrow...

Where is everybody? It's too early to be partying for the weekend, isn't it??

Tim and I just had a nice long phone conversation. Rob came in after 8 and was feeling sick to his stomach and exhausted. He got a bath and was in bed before 9. I did make him get up and take the trash out to the curb, as he's supposed to. I'm hoping that by staying up all night and going until he was physically exhausted, he'll sleep through till morning and get back on a normal schedule.

I went through a bunch of old recipes I'd cut out and cut them in order by category and in a folder, so IF I do ever want to make them, I'll have an easier time finding them. :-) I've continued to sort through magazines too. It would be so great if I could have all the clutter out of this house before Christmas! Told Tim tonight this has to be the best Christmas ever for Mom and Dad and everyone, since he's been in nursing homes and hospitals so much. Christmas Eve here is a tradition, and I have to be up to going all out to make it very special. That means Tim and Rob have to be up to getting all the lights and outdoor decorations up. We have a lot. I want Jackson to see them too!

OK, off to soak.

Anybody out there??

Thoughts and prayers are with M. and her family. It's always hard to lose a loved one, but doing it near a holiday always makes the holiday bittersweet from then on. I hope she can find strength and peace when the suffering is over.
