Does anyone watch "The Closer"? This past season, there was a theme - Brenda was experiencing strange symptoms and I knew exactly what her ob/gyn would say (once she finally got to one - she wouldn't go to a doctor and Fritz had to drag her). Early-onset menopause. DH thought it was so funny that I was laughing so hard and going ummhmmm during these episodes. Just another reason I love that show - she's a real woman facing real woman problems!!!

I vote for the Phhht/Raspberry emoticon :). My ob/gyn says my hormones are normal, but she doesn't live in my skin, and I know some of the things that are happening to me must be related to hormones....like periods that start one day, go away, come back for 3 days, go away for a day and then come back for another 4 days - that has never, ever happened until last year, and I can't stand it :). At least I know now that that lower back pain is crushing of vertebrea LOL. I think my 2 sisters did get facial hair; that would really stink (my paternal grandma had a beard practically).

I’m just thankful for all of us sticking together and helping each other get through this, and so much more…

I agree completely with that thought!!!! Loss of self confidence is something I'm struggling with.I really had good self confidence at one time, now not so much.
