Yesterday morning I got up and typed this wonderful post before climbing on my bike and when I hit post poof...if vanished never to be found. I didn't have time to get back to the board yesterday so I'm here trying to catch up this morning.
Panache - now that is a word you could use to describe me. Humble, too apparently LOL. I'm not sure anybody would copy me, but I have always been told how unique I am (almost always in a good way). One of my male colleagues voted me the "snappiest dresser" at work :). I learned at a young age to stand tall and find my own way. I tend to stand out in a crowd.
What you're describing about a person copying another person to that extreme sounds like hero worship (or stalking). That is kind of creepy.
Being very involved in theater and music from a very young age really affected me. My mother's attitude towards image also affected me.
I think anyone has panache who finds their own way whether it be style, attitude, whatever. I would never want to be exactly like anyone else :).
Today, I'm on day 3 of my recommitment to fitness....so far, so good! My workout today will be walking to and from work (roughly 30 minutes total) and doing a strength workout while I watch Oprah talk about dressing for your age lol.
Pop-It is an addictive game on AOL where you pop balloons of the same color when they are beside each other. Some of them have "prizes" in them with point values. If you get all of those, you get a bonus spin for more points. If you leave five or fewer balloons behind, you can add hundreds of points.
Wound getting back in bed at 5:47 and last looked at the clock at 6:15 AM. I think I got about 3 hours of broken sleep. Still, I got up and Rob and I went to the nursing home. Dad seemed kind of tired today. So did Mom. They both fell asleep while we were watching one of his Walker Texas Ranger DVD's. Rob programed the giant remote to work the TV, but it won't work the DVD. They can still use the other remote or directly at the TV for that.
It's a perfect say to mow the lawn, so Rob's doing that. Tim and I chatted after his dr. appt. He felt very good about it, but I think we're postponing the move back another week. If we keep this up, we might as well just stay separated. I know it's probably for the best, but it's getting old.
I'm tired, feeling kind of sick, and a bit cranky, so I'm going to try to take a nap. Part of me is tired, yet part is awake. I guess

Donna, thanks for your good thoughts and prayers. Best of luck to Peter with his surgery and recovery. I'll keep him in my prayers too.
You must be loving life knowing that 2 of the major players are staying with Boston. :-)
