I am patiently waiting( ok maybe not so patiently) for the guys to get up so I can hit my treadmill. I have a ton of work to accomplish in CL today. I was going to blow off a workout because I should get a good one in CL. But a fight

Oh my Patty, I didn't realize how hard it would be to think of a 'toot' this morning.

Good Morning,

A dismal, gray and rainy day and yes the temperatures are near 60 here too. I woke up at 4:30 sweating and trying to figure out whether hot flashes are back or whether too many covers.

DD and I had such a fun day together yesterday. We shopped and got so much accomplished. She has me on a schedule :)! Must be the teacher in her! DD's BF met us for lunch at Fridays. We got home around 3 and put our purchases in gift bags and wrapped the things that need to be gift wrapped. I will say it was wierd sitting there wrapping gifts but feel very accomplished. Giving a toot to a wonderful productive day.

Since I was awake at 4:30 and in a pool of sweat decided I might as well give myself a reason to sweat so down to the basement I went. A good paced walk on the treadmill and then on to a lower body workout and some stretching.

DD's schedule for me this evening is decorating our holiday cookie jars. We picked up our supply of jars in Ikea and really nice ribbon in Michaels for the decorating.

Rhonda-I do hope you're feeling better. And if you're not hope you can get in to see the cardiologist.

J-Deb-rainy weather here in NY today. But the sun is supposed to reappear tomorrow and still above normal temperatures but hope you've packed something warmer for the end of the week. Have fun on your trip!

Grace-hope your stress test goes well today. I was sorry to hear that your niece is still missing. DH's niece had run away from home as a teenager. It's a horrible thing to live through.

Well, I guess that's about it from my corner of the world. It's back to work today and hope the day goes quickly and smoothly.

Hope everyone has a terrific Tuesday.

Got an 11 AM appt. with my gen. practitioner, since I'm still not feeling well. They said if I feel worse I should go to the ER. Rob is going to take me. I'm not feeling too bad this morning, but still not feeling right and it's been dragging on too long. Need to go get ready, but will try to post more later.

Yay ME!!! Woo hoo and all of that! I have a great "toot my own horn". Just got the results of my nuclear stress test and everything is "NORMAL". Ok...one less thing to worry about and maybe get my stress level down to size. However, unlike you Patty, I am not going to do any workout today. I am going to blame the stress headache.

Niece finally called my sister. She doesn't want to come home or go back to rehab. She is having too much fun. I guess juvie hall sounds better than going back because she thinks she won't be found. But, that is where it is now. The police won't look for her...but if they see someone who looks like her, they will ask if it is she. Good grief...like she is going to tell the truth. Sis is getting some sort of court order to make them look for her and bring in if they find her. Forgot what it is called. Her life is ruined and I don't even want to think about how she is going to get money to stay on the streets.

Can't wait to get a good night's sleep tonight. Nothing else to stress about for now. I can also concentrate on Thanksgiving which is my favorite holiday and I really do like to prepare and cook for it.

Not much posting for me right now...I am just going to chill with relief. Can't go anywhere anyway since I am still glowing in the dark.

Tooting my horn!

For the 2nd time in a week, an email campaign I've taken part in has helped to preserve the Judeo-Christian traditions this country was founded on. If we silent majority members don't speak up, the only politically incorrect religion will be Christianity. I also ordered some car magnets to share with the family that regarding keeping the Christ in Christmas. My sister in MD was going to cancel her entire new kitchen complete with granite counter tops, so I guess that got their attention too. I'm sure many people did.

Congratulations on great test results! I can identify with stressing about it. I've been doing the same thing lately.

Sure hope your niece will get a wake-up call before it's too late. If only youth realize how much they don't know...
