Hi, everyone!

No point posting on the am-Wednesday thread since it's now well into the pm.

This is so funny -- I was going to start an evening thread and was going to call it Over the Hump Day!! I'm glad I checked first.

Thanks for everyone's good wishes. I am finally feeling somewhat better today. Still not 100% but definitely improving, or at least it appears that way. I think the medicine the dr. gave me is helping.

Rob and I went to see Dad for about 2 1/2 hours today. With travel time and stopping to grab lunch it was closer to 3 1/2. I can tell Dad's cognitive functions are slipping. It's upsetting.

It's over the hump except I keep (wishfully) thinking that it's Thursday. Sometimes these shorter work weeks seem longer.

I'm really tired tonight. Too much straight staring at a computer screen and then my 3 PM slump that came with a whole lot of things that needed to be taken care of before 5. Don't these attorneys know that their rushes needed to be planned before the afternoon slump? Just can't raise attorneys these days.

Fortunately dinner was a heat, boil and serve pasta night. Not much mentally in the head to do much more. Otto met up with the gang this evening-Maggie, Oz, Kaya and Luke. It's an amusing bunch-the dogs that is! I was none to happy to find dinner still in the pot on the stove and stuff still on the table and with DH working on DS car yet again I was on clean up duty. No, I'm not a happy camper.

DD had open school night. Even though she doesn't have a classroom she needed to be there so while she was sitting folding paper (apparently a project she has planned for the kids so she tells me)I got my call from my leader to see if I was going to attend to my Christmas labels on the computer-she's cracking the whip!

Rhonda-glad to hear that you're feeling better. Thinking good thoughts for you and Tim!

Donna-good to see a post from you. I do hope the office hours will diminish for you at some point.

Lori-so glad to hear from you. I do hope that the job hunt is successful and you'll be able to find something less stressful and closer to home.

Well better get to my task before I get cracked with that whip! Hope you've all had a good day.

Exactly how long would it take me to get from NY to Wyoming? Those look so good!

Yum! I wound up printing out 3 biscotti recipes from that link and the additional ones in a post there. I've made it a few times at Christmas and will again this year. I was thinking about making some to send to Phyllis to send to the guys where she is in Iraq. They're already "stale" so that shouldn't be a problem. ;-)
