Ideally I would like to get in at least 5 days week of at least 20 minutes of cardio. Walking is hard for me with my feet...I could mangage up to 2 miles but then my feet complain.

Usually I do get in at least 5 days or I should say 5 cardio workouts especially if I do more than one class on the days I do exercise.

I will say for the last few months I have been averaging 4 to 5 mornings a week walking. We walk for 30 minutes and it is just over 1.5 miles. I would love to walk further but my morning time limit is a crunch and getting in more then the 5 mornings seems like a dream.........but something is better then nothing!

I would say that for the last month (at least) I've averaged 30 minutes of walking at least 3 days per week.

Grace, are you still having trouble with your feet? I thought with the schedule you've been keeping that maybe they were doing better. You have really been through it.

I would love to do 5 days a week too. I was doing better before I got sick 3 weeks ago and had found 5 Zumba classes a week. I need to get in some weight training too, but that is extremely hard since I'm limited to lifting not over 20 lbs. I'm going to have to do infinite reps to make much difference, and even then, my body will get used to it.

I do have trouble with my feet especially with walking. I am fine doing classes since they involve different movements for my feet. Step, hi/lo aerobics, kick boxing are all ok. The walking bothers my left foot with the constant pushing off in a power walk.

Thank goodness I can still do classes and that is why I keep the shedule I do.

I hope you start feel better so you can go back to the zumba. It is great to exercise with something you really like to do.

Yes, weights can get repetitive. I find I can bear them only during a class. Thank goodness I teach body sculpting classes so I can get my weights in that way.

A good week is when I get at least 5 days of cardio in. But lately I've been thinking of aiming for 3 days of cardio and 3 days of a really good weight workout in.

This time of year I'm good to get in 4 days of cardio. My goal would be 5 but it's not always possible.
