Winding up the weekend.....

Good evening all, and I hope you had a nice weekend. It was quiet here and I still think I am adjusting to the time change. I keep getting up so early!
Niece is still on the streets and my sister is here visiting. She got in on time Friday night and I am very grateful she flew into the local Long Island airport...10 minutes from my house. I am a little overwhelmed with the family dynamics going on around here right now with my sister up here. DH and children are on my case because they don't want sis's boyfriend coming for Thanksgiving. ( He is flying up Thurs and leaving with sis on Wed ) I wish my family would cooperate and help keep my stress level down.
That is the only explanation I can give for not posting sooner. I have a full schedule teaching and subbing classes this week...I do have Thursday off. Whew!
DD stopped by to see her Aunt and her baby bump is getting bigger. She is such a tiny thing and has barely a bump at 5 1/2 months pregnant.
So...how was your weekend? I do hope it was a good one spent with some family and/or friends or you just go to do something you wanted to do.
Rhonda...so sorry to hear about your Aunt.

It's been a productive day around here. Lots of groceries coming in the house and Otto managed to help himself to a loaf of bread. He didn't manage to enjoy it and I didn't enjoy throwing a loaf of bread in the garbage.
Went and had my nails done and then I sat and read for awhile this afternoon but also managed to finish up some laundry, my pumpkin cooked and pureed (love my food processor), bread cubed for my stuffing, took Otto out for a much needed walk and now it's time to sit and do nothing! Probably be out cold in the chair before too long!
Grace, I do hope the family lets you relax! Sounds like a very busy week ahead for you.
Hope everyone has had a good day!
