Do you carve the turkey at the table or bring it to the table already carved on a platter?

We always carve ahead and try to get everything on the table hot or at least warm. I don't know how to carve a turkey neatly and get everybody served quickly.

Just curious...

We've tried it every way imaginable. After several failed attempts at carving neatly, we finally carved in the kitchen before we set it on the table. Now, we take the easy way out and cook only the breasts (easier to carve).

Carve ahead, although it always looks yummy to bring the beautiful bird to the table the way they do in tv and movies!

Just finished typing up our menu cards.

We wait until after it's at the table, so we can get a picture of it whole. The place that roasted the one for this year would have carved it, but much to Tim's chagrin, Mom said no.

We use the electric carving knife beforehand, and serve the carved turkey slices on a platter.
