I am exhausted and still have so much to do! Somehow it WILL happen. Tim is on his way home from work and is going to help with cleaning. I haven't even started except for all the mountains of dishes I've done today. I did rake thousands of sycamore leaves in the front yard and got those bagged up after dark, then hosed down the front sidewalk and little porch with the front lights on.
I already mentioned the cooking I got done this morning. Stopped and threw on some clothes, grabbed some lunch at a drive thru, and got to the nursing home at 1:25 -- later than usual, but I'd called Dad so he wouldn't think no one was coming. He had gotten confused and thought today was Thanksgiving, so he was kind of down about having to stay there. He did seem better when I got there. I took the photo and DVD of his great nephew who just won the world heavyweight amateur, full body contact, kickboxing championship. Boy, that's a mouthful. He didn't really know who he is, but was pleased just the same. We wound up going all around the building to show some of the nurses, CNA's, and his PT. We watched the video and he got confused thinking it was supposed to be Walker Texas Ranger. He said it didn't look like him.
Yes, I'm tired too. Didn't get everything done that I had anticipated but I'm blaming DD-she gets me off track :)! I had a few things I needed at the grocery store, I needed to run to the bank and DD had to run to the mall to return something. We were both starving after that and we both had a craving for Happy Meals. Neither one of us eat fast food very often so we indulged. NY rolls, California rolls and cucumber rolls for DD and I for dinner. I guess the calories I burned off on the treadmill and weights this morning were put back on and probably doubled!
But my pies are baked, the kitchen semi back in order and the house in almost presentable order. I should head off to bed as I need to get up early to do a few things.

Goodnight all!

Miss P
I'm reading this and thinking this has to be a recap for a full week and not a full day!
Nancy, you must report back how the crockpot warming of the turkey goes.
Thank-you so much. Deb! You really warmed my heart.
(The bunny could use some new batteries. ;-)

If it tastes the same, I'm going to do it always.
