Karen I'm very sorry to hear about the loss of your friend's mother.

Thank-you for sharing the pictures. Love the ones of you with your children and the special shapes around them. Your food looks delicious!

Enjoy your trip to Denver.

I was very curious to hear how the crock pots worked out and now you will have to give us the details on what you did so I can keep it in mind for next year. Hey, it might come in handy for Christmas too!

You are one brave lady to go out for Black Friday. Maybe it isn't so crazy as it is here in NY? Would you believe that the outlet mall opened up at midnight and the traffic was backed up 5 exits on the LIE (long island expressway otherwise known as the LI distressway!) The outlet mall had to turn people away...it was too full.

Glad T-day turned out to be so nice. Welcome to the overeater group...enjoy today.

Thank goodness you were ok from your scarey skid yesterday, Deb. Sorry about your friends son...you were all lucky!

Sounds like a daunting task to get to the Y to take Zumba with the parking situation. That is some popular Y to be that crowded especially this time of year.

Enjoy your class tonight.

Oh my, I just chuckled about the Subaru and the bush! That was a fun trip and I am glad that bushes have been safe the last 1 1/2 years.

I already had some T-day leftovers with having a turkey sandwich, salad,

Enjoy your trip to Denver, Karen. Sorry about the chocolate bar cookies. (wink)

Sorry you have to go to a funeral today. Prayers to all at this sad time.

Great job with making just the right amount of food. Looks like you have extra desserts though. I may be over while you are away. Very

So nice you got a chance to get some extra sugar from Jackson. I actually stopped in the middle of everything and picked up Abigail to have some time with her. Her older sister made sure "hamma" played with her awhile too. She was so good sharing herself with all of us...LOL! She wore a party house most of the day because she was dancing around after accomplishing peeps in the potty. She is a character.

I thought I would sleep like a baby last night after all the days of stress and preparations. I was exhausted last night...but to no avail. Actually I did sleep like a baby...a new one who gets up 3 times a night. Hope you get a chance to catch up soon.

Enjoy the weekend and I hope you get to go back to Zumba and your regular routine.

It's the evening after here on LI. It's been a very busy 2 days around here. I've been trying to catch up and sounds like everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

I was a little overly ambitious with my Thanksgiving meal and in spite of my day off I was pretty much on the go from the early hours until late evening. But with the exception of a few minor things gone wrong in the kitchen it was a great day. All the kids were great in helping out in the kitchen and with the clean up. We had our usual after dinner game of Scattegories although I was accused of cheating-I swear I didn't! We always have a lot of laughs with that game.

This morning DD and I headed out for our Black Friday shopping. We headed to Target and then a stop at Panera for breakfast and then a continuation of shopping. We didn't seem to do as well as past years as far as sales but we always have a good time. We've been hanging around all afternoon. I'm always too tired to deal with any leftover mess and it was good just to do nothing all afternoon after a busy few days. Tomorrow we'll be waiting for Verizon to do the TV/cable installation so there will be plenty of time to catch up with household whatnots.

We're headed over to DH's nieces this evening to see the kids. DD wanted to see the kids before she heads back to MA so DD and her BF, DD, DH and myself will be heading over there in a little while. We'll have some pizza, get some Emma lovin' in and then head home.

J-Deb-glad to hear that everything was OK after your ice skid. I hate ice and snow driving!

Better get going to get my hair dried and out the door.

Sounds as though you really had a nice 2 days in spite of how much work it was. Felt weird for me not to participate in Black Friday, but frankly
