Good morning everyone. Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.
How different our lives are when we really know what is deeply important to us, and keeping that picture in mind, we manage ourselves each day to be and to do what really matters most. ~ Stephen R. Covey
Good morning! I worked at the GH yesterday. Slow day, only 2 customers all day.Beautiful out there though with the poinsettias, fresh Christmas tress and wreaths. I came home and did a quick run on
I could see the velvety red petals and smell the evergreens when I read your post, Patty. It's great that you'll have your sisters to keep up the exercise with you through the holidays. I know the priority for me is to make Christmas as lovely as possible for Mom and Dad, so I will work around that. If that happens, it's the best gift I could get.
Did anybody see the Gator-FSU game last night? For Gators fans, it was truly a thing of beauty. :-) Tim Tebow was just awesome. He now has 52 touchdowns throwing and rushing in a season
A beautiful sunny Sunday out there. The house is very quiet-DD left early to head back to MA to beat any kind of traffic and DH left for his volunteer Sunday morning at the hospital.
Lots of things to try to accomplish today. I've been totally lazy as far as my house is concerned. I need to go to the grocery store but haven't even thought about menus for the week. I'll probably just go over there pick up what I need and I'll have to wing it as far as meals go. I want to try to get my modem returned. It's one of those things that it's disconnected but if I wait to return it I know I'm going to forget about it. I also have an idea for a gift for the two grandnephews and I saw it on sale at Circuit City so I may try to get over there. I also have to clean up DD's room. The room is just a mess normally but I made it even worse to move things out of the way for the Verizon guy. Then DD and I headed out on a search for a TV stand. We've had a TV swap around here. DS bought himself a new TV so I inherited his "old" 42" inch and then I gave DD the old 27" to replace her 19". The 27" has been sitting on her floor since her old stand won't withstand the weight of the 27". DD and I found a nice stand in Target and she put it together for her sister and we thought we would surprise her with it all put together and the TV on it. But yet another mess! That may have to be my afternoon project. Needless to say I could probably use another couple of days at home. I'm behind in my bill paying as well and need to attend to that. I think I just made myself dizzy!
Anyway, as you can see it's a busy day ahead. J-Deb-hope Eric is feeling better. Kathy-hope you're sinus infection clears up. I have a tendency towards them and they're just nasty things. That's exciting for you about the classes!
I've been pretty good about keeping up with the exercise but my eating has really been bad the past few days. Hopefully I'll get back on track this coming week.
Well better get moving-hope everyone has a great day!
I've decided to take some time to really think about what I want the next month to be. <
I'm nowhere (1000% from nowhere) as busy as all of you ladies since we have no kids, no family here and I don't work at home and then at work-work...but I love what Miss P said about December.
