Good morning everyone. Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.
How different our lives are when we really know what is deeply important to us, and keeping that picture in mind, we manage ourselves each day to be and to do what really matters most. ~ Stephen R. Covey
Good morning or rather good afternoon. My husband left around 5 this morning and met the guy someplace in PA around 9. He is in the process of driving home with a nice package of cash in his pocket. This means we can do the electrical work on the house and out to the garage and that imaginary pool that is supposed to be started sometime this month...........still waiting there. I slept in until 8:00 then got my crock pot going with a pot roast. Smells yummy! Rob helped me pull all my bins and boxes out of the basement so I can start working on my Christmas decorations this week. I do not know if many of you do this but I find I need to put stuff away before starting my Christmas decorations. I have so many trinkets, family pictures, car models (we won't go there, ok), candles sitting out on shelves, mantels and tables they need to wrapped up and put into those bins and put downstairs for the season. It is a lot of work since I have about 25 of those Dept. 56 village houses we (notice I said we, I meant me!)display. I did all my ironing this morning and all the laundry is done for the day. Folded, ironed, hung up, you name it it's done. I need to dry my hair then head out to the grocery store for I need some food too and I figure might as well do it now while the sun it out. Katie slept at her girlfriends house and she does not have to be picked up until 6:00 so I will enjoy the time alone while I have it. I will also wrap those gifts I bought on Friday and put them away until the trees go up. I will gather those miscellaneous objects I mentioned and see if I can put them in one place and then wrap them up. We have an appointment tomorrow between 11 and 1 to have the carpets cleaned in the den and the dinning room. Between Bingos mistakes these last few months and the cats spiteful work they both are in dire need. I figure I would do the Christmas stuff starting on Wednesday. So tonight we need to pull then smaller stuff out of the den (leaving the couch and the wide screen TV were they are) and then put the dinning room table and chairs into the livingroom. Did I mention I actually thought I might relax today. Yeah right! Linda one of the reasons I stepped down besides time and being pulled was the lack of diet and exercise commitment. I felt I wasn't a good example to follow. I do miss everyone when I do not post or check in and now that I am not CL I find the pressure is off just a little to say hi. But please know that we miss you when you are not around. Patty and Nancy you both mentioned journals. I find I do my best with my food when I use those WW journals. I usually think before I eat, knowing I have to write it down. Exercise well we all know that is not one of my strong points but if you want to talk WW give me a shout! Susan I am behind in my bill paying and banking and of course groceries too. Sounds like we have parallels going on right now. Kathy so good to hear from you. Have you talked anymore about the surgery? Is it still an open option to you? Have you rejoined the WW program again? Sounds like your day was really nice and today really sounds good. Let us know how it goes. Rhonda I love the outfit. I just got the new Cold Water Creek book and there are like 2 dozen things I circled, lol. Sounds like you had a really good Thanksgiving. When does your Rob head home? Well
As you'll see, we often don't exercise consistenly here, but still keep posting -- at least I do. It's been over a month since I've been to Zumba class because of being sick, but I'd like to get back next week. I started back in Feb.
Hi, Everyone! I tried to post yesterday but had a hard time just logging on...the keyboard decided to give up it's ghost. It is the original wireless one that came with the computer (5 years ago?) and the mouse gave up a long time ago. I remember the guy laughing when
Happy Birthday to DH, Patty! Wow...you guys celebrate very close to each other! I bet being at GH in the middle of all that Christmas greenery got you in the holiday mood. It sure would for me.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Wonder what the men were up to in CL?
Hi, Kathy...sorry to hear about your sinus infection but that is good about your good check up. Glad you had a nice time at the Plymouth Plantation. I love doing that kind of stuff...we went to the plantation that was part of Colonial Williamsburg and really enjoyed it. I guess it is something similar.
Body Pump is a great workout. I am sure you would enjoy it! Some of the gyms offer it, but I have not taken the original Body Pump which is trademarked and you have to be certified in it, I believe, but similar classes. The Body Flow looks good too!
Hope you feel better soon....and do wait until the infection is gone before trying the class. You will be glad you did.
Hey, watch who you are calling old! LOL! Those pj's sound like a good idea. I wear pj's and started because of the night sweats. I couldn't stand my legs sticking together after an episode. I don't know how I ever slept in nightgowns.
Sorry about your long work week again...hope by some miracle the schedule will be for only 3 days.
I am going to join you and Patty with the journaling. I already got my notebook ready. Happy end of the year to all of us!
Sounds like Rob is having a great time in vacation. Making Christmas special for Mom and Dad is making it special for you too. I am sure you will get great satisfaction from it.

Thanks MN-Deb. It looks as though it might be slimming and very comfy, which are two of my biggest priorities. :-)
Glad to hear your DH checked in and is fine.
