Today as well as this whole weekend was good although a little too much food was consumed! I just made the decision to throw out all the desserts on my way to bed so there will be no temptation to my start over tomorrow. I went through everything in the fridge and made sure only "good" foods are in there.
Nothing much else to report except I am looking forward
Today was just a day of aggravation and frustration. Not at all what a Sunday should be. Started out with a run to Circuit City. I will say I had a very nice and patient sales person who helped me find what I wanted and was upset that the plastic on one of the games was torn. I assured him it was fine as is.
TV is still not working although they sent a tech here who was here most of the afternoon and then had to call another guy in who has some type of special meter to check the signal. Turns out the guy who did the installation yesterday apparently took a few short cuts that he shouldn't have. I ended up calling and making a new appointment which isn't going to happen until DS is off on Thursday. It does seem that once they figured out the problem the second tech wasn't supposed to leave until the problem was corrected. There's going to be a bit of a billing discussion about this first bill. It's all stupid stuff it's just so aggravating!
Poor Otto has yet to get out for a walk. I'm finishing up paying my bills and I'm wishing DH would get the dishes done so I could finish cleaning up the kitchen. His time frame on things and mine sometimes just don't mesh. I feel so utterly unorganized this evening and knowing that I have to head back to work tomorrow is making me feel a bit crazed and out of control.
I guess that's about it from here. Hope you've all had a great day.
Tim brought me tea and the Sunday paper in bed. I told him he was spoiling me (but I don't mind). Just glanced at part of it, so I could get ready for church on time. We went to the service then had brunch at a pancake house at the Town Center Mall. We drove through the new section that opened recently -- lots of higher end stores and it's landscaped very pretty. All we really needed to do was go to the far end to Target. While he got a replacement carafe for the coffee pot, I found "White Christmas", "It's a Wonderful Life", and "The Glen Miller Story" on DVD for really good prices, so I got them for Dad. Mom will enjoy them too. Can't remember if I posted it or not, but I took our small lighted tree to the nursing home and put it on top of their wardrobes yesterday. He and his
Just re-read this and realized I wrote that Rob's flight gets in tomorrow evening. Actually, he gets in tomorrow morning. That's long enough on a plane. It would be really bad if it were until evening.

Hi, everyone!
We've had a fun, busy weekend and are settling back to normal (or something like it).
Donna
Just re-read this and realized I wrote that Rob's flight gets in tomorrow evening. Actually, he gets in tomorrow morning. That's long enough on a plane. It would be really bad if it were until evening.
Nancy and Donna, thanks for your good thoughts.
