Learning the Difference on Monday

Good morning everyone. Rhonda, we're all thinking of you and your family. We love you.Margie, great job on your food. I can hear you peddling away.
Focus on what you know you can do. Know what you’re capable of on any given day, and what you can count on. Do the simple things well, and then use the confidence to build up the rest of your game. Learn to differentiate between what is truly important and what can be dealt with at another time. ~ Mia Hamm, Go For the Goal

I have to admit that a pumpkin pie has never lasted long enough here to get moldy, either.

Good Morning,
It's a rainy day here and water up to the curb in front of the house and stretches far enough across the street that I think my feet are going to be more than just damp before I reach the car.
I was up at my new hour which is 3AM and tossed and turned until 4:15 and then I was all confused about when I was supposed to get up. Otto helped me get up when I heard him scratching at the door to be let out. He took care of business and then I figured I would take care of business by heading to the basement for a workout. Treadmill and weights were on the agenda for the day.
DD's BF has a final interview with a company that he really wants to work for. He hopes that a good job offer will come along with the interview. He has another offer pending from another company so hopefully he'll have something to decide between by the end of the day.
DH told me that his employer hasn't paid the employees medical benefits so unless he actually puts the check in the mail as of 12/1 we'll have no health insurance. Could be another reason tossing and turning seems to be making up my sleep pattern the past few nights. It's also a contract year and medical benefits are such a huge part of negotiations. Disconcerting to say the least.
Back to the working world today. We'll see how much damage was done to my desk in one day. It shouldn't be too bad since my boss was out on Friday.
Rhonda-thoughts and prayers are with your Dad and the family. It's such a hard thing. Thinking of you all.
JZ-Deb-hope Eric is feeling better and if not then hope a trip to the doctor. My pumpkin pie came down with a case of the mold as well. Into the trash it went! Still have the apple pie but not much of it and it doesn't seem to be calling my name at the moment.
Donna-glad to hear that Peter is doing well. Sounds a fun weekend with the nephew.
Well that's about it from my neck of the woods. Unless the weather improves I'm afraid Otto is going to be suffering another day of cabin fever. I really have been neglecting him the past few days.
Hope you're all well and ready to start off a new week!
Susan
Good morning
The Have-To-Dos today include unpacking, doing the Scout newsletter for the meeting tonight along with the permission slip for an upcoming field trip.

That doesn't sound right at all, Susan.
