I'll have to toot later, but I do
Oh, that is so sweet to be thinking of adopting dogs in need of
Hi D-Deb!
I like internet shopping too, especially with all the sales after christmas.
Well, the day after Thanksgiving, we made scalloped potatoes and ham, a pecan pie and took them over to the in-laws for dinner (we also brought other leftover desserts, and they through in some turkey and a salad).

Hi gals. I can't think of any toots either, except that Thanksgiving is always complicated because there are so many families, mine, my SO's and my son's father's. We made our choices as to how to spend our time, and kept things positive all around. My toot is that I keep my young son feeling good and happy about his "blended" family. He has a lot of love in his life, and I think I have protected him from ever feeling torn.
Just went for a walk with the dog and had organic yogurt, granola, and cranberry juice for breakfast. I feel great!

Toots:
1) Finding jeans that fit and looked pretty good on me.
Patty, I didn't mean for this to take the place of your regular Tuesday post. I thought it would be separate like the Friday Five. I love reading about all the ways the women on this board do things to help others and themselves. It's very uplifting.
Not sure what the weather is like today, but it was still 83 on my car thermometer at 5:30 last night. Seems a bit overcast now.
Once again, sleep eluded me. Finally, at 2:08 AM I decided to try one of Tim's Lunesta. It took until after 4:00 AM to put me to sleep. So, now of course, I'm feeling woozie like what a hangover must feel like. My equilibrium is a little off, and I need to get dressed and drive to the nursing home. Maybe if I eat something it will help.
Tim brought in the newspaper, gave me a kiss, and wished me a Happy Anniversary before he left for work. Bet he hasn't bought a card. LOL! Maybe he'll get to it today. I'll give him his tonight. Hope we go out to dinner. We've been eating at home lately to try to cut back on expenses. Margie, I know how that goes when you need to tighten the belt.
Better get a move on. More later.
