Good morning! Yay, Thankful Thursday post. My memory is shot. The past few mornings I've had a quote but have forgotten what it was about. I've had to paste it so I could read it and see what I meant to post about. So much for 39...

I find that the more willing I am to be grateful for the small things in life, the bigger stuff just seems to show up from unexpected sources, and I am constantly looking forward to each day with all the surprises that keep coming my way! ~ Louise L. Hay, Gratitude: A Way of Life

So what's made your Thankful list this week? Has anything given you a lift and had

Good Morning,

A gray day here on LI. I think gray days and rain come with DH planning to take some time off from work. He's been trying to get the yard cleaned up but everytime he takes a day it rains. It's not raining now but sure does look like it.

I'm hoping Verizon shows up early. A window of 8 to 12 but have absolutely no idea how long they're going to be here. DS will take the morning shift and DH will have to take the afternoon shift.

I must have passed out last night. I didn't set the alarm and was still in my comfy after work clothes when I woke up this morning. Since I woke up late I was really tempted not to head to the basement but decided that I had a 1/2 hour and could get a WATP video.

Nothing much else on the agenda except the working world today. Turkey tacos for dinner this evening. Quick and simple. If it's not raining Otto and I will hopefully head out for a walk.

Rhonda-hope you get some sleep. I know how cranky I get when sleep is eluding me. Sorry to hear about the issues with the nursing home. Best of luck to Tim with his meeting.

Grace-your dinner menu sounded really good! Happy Birthday wishes to your DD!

Karen-loved the photos of your Christmas decorations.

Jz-Deb-how's Eric feeling?

Deb/MN-how's your DS doing with the hearing aid?

Nancy-sorry to hear about the issues with your MIL. A very difficult situation to say the least.

The rest of my mind is like the holes in a sieve. Just keeps running right through. DH keeps asking me to remember things and I have to keep telling him that my memory is not any better-a concept he can't seem to grasp!

Thankful for a good checkin with the doctor.

Thankful for a safe flight for DD to Florida

Thankful for a fun weekend,

Thankful for leftover vacation days.

Well better get to the tasks around the house before I leave for the paying job. Hope you all have a great day and thinking of you all!

Good morning, everyone....

Sprinkling a little magic dust over all of us so we'll have a terrific day with no spousal unit / kid / work / health issues, car trouble, insurance trouble, caregiver trouble, cable / satellite installer trouble, or anything else energy-draining

Hi! I am wiped out already today. Last night I got a call around 9 from the instructor who teaches after me on Thursdays, to see if I could do her class. It is a hi/lo aerobics and it is a little tough to do after doing an hour of body sculpting before it. But, her DD has bronchitis and she has no one else to do it. So...being me, I said yes and now dreading that I have to sub 2 classes tonight. I want to take a nap but a contractor is here doing some work. I had no idea...DH scheduled this one and he is at work. So...my day is turned up side down. Ok, that is off my chest!

Thankful I am able to do all these classes and
