Good morning! Yay, Thankful Thursday post. My memory is shot. The past few mornings I've had a quote but have forgotten what it was about. I've had to paste it so I could read it and see what I meant to post about. So much for 39...
I find that the more willing I am to be grateful for the small things in life, the bigger stuff just seems to show up from unexpected sources, and I am constantly looking forward to each day with all the surprises that keep coming my way! ~ Louise L. Hay, Gratitude: A Way of Life

Thanks for the heads up about Oprah today. It will be a good time for me to chill out before I have to leave to teach the two classes tonight.

Good vibes coming Ryan's way Patty! You really raised a good son there with him helping out so much and juggling so many things.
Sorry about your friends mom...how painful for everyone to see someone they love suffer. I do hope the family finds peace now knowing she is not in pain anymore.
I really really like your thankfuls.

Oh yeah...imagine that, not getting a good night's sleep. I think it is an epidemic on this board. Thank you perimenopause/menopause! Know you are in good company.
I am trying melatonin to help with sleep issues. I did it once before for two weeks just to get into a sleep pattern and it helped for awhile. So, I am doing it again to see if I can get that pattern back.

Thanks for the sprinkling of magic dust. Sure hope it works. But, maybe it did since DH already called to apologize that he didn't give me a head's up on the workman being here. Good thing we really know him well.
Hope you have a good work day. Sorry about not sending the leftovers up...DDs took a lot of it home already. I am such a "sucker" when it comes to them and helping them out.

Margie, I am always at a loss as to what get people for Christmas. It seems the years I had ideas, I did not have the money. Now I have the funds but no ideas. So, it looks like a gift bag with a couple of little things and checks and/or gift cards for the rest. Shopping on line works for me too!
Five year olds can really tell it like it is. DD is finding that more and more with teaching kindergarten.
I love your new attitude with your new body! Keep sharing your wonderful thoughts of renewal and taking care of us mentally, spiritually,
