Hugs prayers and thoughts coming to both of you for all that you are going through with aging parents. It is so hard to watch the deterioration that is going on.

I am sorry to hear that your Dad has to move again Rhonda. But maybe it will be good to have him closer by. So hard to find a good nursing home

I hope MinL will agree to go into assisted living. It would be best for all but it is hard to her to see that. It is scary once she can't handle doing her medications right.

Again..just wanted to let you know I am thinking about you.

Thanks Grace and J/Z-Deb. Actually, Dad's staying in the same nursing home, but moving to a long term care hall. I like his old room better, but the new roommate should be better for him.

Nancy, I hope things will get easier for you with your MIL. Maybe a sibling will surprise you and step up to the plate to help. I'm fortunate that my sisters do everything they can to help, it's just that one is 500 miles away and the other works and travels. My niece and her husband (MD) are both a wealth of information with their backgrounds in geriatrics and nursing.

Hugs,
