Good morning. Who can believe Dec is here? And who can believe another year is almost over????

The above is a link to a video Dolly Parton has out. I know everyone isn't a fan of country music but this is a video that caught my attention

Good Morning,

Blue skies and sunshine but a wind whipping around that I'm sure the trees will be pretty much bare by the beginning of the week.

Out early to get my blood work done. I was there early and still 4th in line. Unfortunately, the office personnel didn't show up to unlock the door until 10 minutes after they were supposed to open and it was one person trying to do it all. Everyone else finally showed up and the waiting room of people finally started to move. That's over and done with and I'll find out next week about the results.

I came home and got on the treadmill for 30 minutes. I had a nice walk/run working on the speed and incline. I've had a nice shower and breakfast and ready to tackle the day.

Lots to do around here. General house cleaning, some errands to run that I hope DH will take care of. DD and I are going to start decorating the house tomorrow so I'm going to take down the fall things and put pictures away so we'll be set for tomorrow. I also need to get my car to the car wash. Lots of birds had a good time all over my car.

My refrigerator still needs to be cleaned out and we have water leaking somewhere in the back of the refrigerator. Of course the extended warranty has expired and we didn't bother taking out a new policy. This had happened once before and it was a simple fix except that none of our simple minds remember what the fix is!

I was exhausted after work yesterday and couldn't wait to get home. I played with my Video on Demand feature on the new system and watched "Catch and Release". I attempted to watch What Not to Wear but never saw much of it and kept nodding off in the chair.

Rhonda-Thinking of you and your family with all that's going on with your Dad.

Guess that's about it. Hope you all have a good start to the day ahead.

It's snowing here! It wasn't supposed to start till around Noon but it wasn't even light out and it was coming down. We're not expecting as much here as those to the east (MN) and south (SD).

Good morning!

It's bright, cold, and extremely windy here today, too - feels like the house is shaking, some of the gusts are that strong.

How was "Catch and Release"? I've started to rent that a few times.

Hope you're able to get your leak taken care of. I really admire how consistent you've been with your exercise, especially at the time of day you usually do it.

Patty, I hope this doesn't sound dumb, but have your (or any other women with dogs and treadmills) ever tried walking your dog on the treadmill when the weather is bad? Just wondering...

I can't see the video!! It says I have to download Adobe or something like that, which I thought I already have, but it doesn't happen. Drat. Maybe I can see it another way.

Have things been pretty busy at the GH with trees, wreaths, pointsettias, and all?

It's sounding very Christimasy at your place. I'd love to see some pictures of the snow.

Donna, your posts are never boring, so please don't feel that way. I'm the one who's been such a downer lately, but it doesn't usually keep me from posting. LOL! Congratulations to you for exercising 3X this week. I'd love to feel the way you are feeling today. If I could get back to exercising, I'm sure it would help, but I've been kind of afraid to with the way my chest has been feeling. I should probably make an appt. for an echo cardiogram, as Mom suggested, even though the dr. didn't. Of course, he doesn't know I'm still not feeling great.

I probably shouldn't remind you, but BC is playing VT here today for the ACC Championship. I know you're not really into college ball, but it should be a good game.

Thanks for the kind sentiments about Dad.

How is your DS doing with his new hearing aid? I'm sure it's an adjustment. Mom has had a few pairs, but she hasn't done well with them. Maybe because he's younger and probably adapts to change more easily, he will do well. Sure hope so.

Thanks for the good thoughts about my dad. :-)

Hope your DH makes it home safely. Post some pix of your snow, if you can. The closest thing we have to snow here is the acorns falling nonstop from my huge oak tree.
