2. Real or Artificial tree? Real one in the living room and a small fiber optic table top tree in my TV room.
3. When do you put up the tree? We usually get it and decorate it around the 15th.
4. When do you take the tree down? After Little Christmas
5. Do you like Eggnog? Haven't had it in years. Not sure I would like the richness of it anymore
6. Favorite Gift you received as a child? Betsy McCall doll and lots of clothes that had been handmade for her
7. Do you have a nativity scene? Yes, we have an outdoor one, a beautiful white ceramic one that we bought at an Amish craft market and we also have a beautiful wooden set that had belonged to Dh's aunt and another one for under the tree.
8. Hardest person to buy for? DH
9. Easiest person to buy for? The kids are usually pretty easy to shop for.
10. Worst Christmas gift ever received. Really can't think of anything.
11. Christmas Cards... Sent out as of yesterday. Probably the earliest they've ever been sent out
12. Favorite Christmas Movie...A Christmas Story-a tradition for DD and I to watch every year-hence why DD refers to me at times as Ralphie's Mom!
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? Usually on Black Friday but I started earlier in November this year.
14. Have you ever "recycled" a Christmas present? No
15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Christmas Cookies!
16. Clear or colored lights (or both) on the tree? We had done colored lights on the tree but changed over to white lights a few years ago.
17. Favorite Christmas Song? O Holy Night is one of my favorites.
18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Changes from year to year
19. Can you name Santa's Reindeer? Yes
20. Do you have an Angel or a Star on top of you tree? Angel
21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or Christmas Morning? Christmas Eve was always spent with my IL's and since their passing I've had my SIL's over for Christmas Eve and Christmas morning is with the kids.
