Good morning everyone. I think any minute DH will be heading towards me saying he needs the computer for work before he heads out. As if the computer is for work and serious stuff!!! Sheesh!

For years DH thought working outside the home and making a living was all he had to do to be a husband and father. Everything else fell on me and you get to the point where you start to resent all the work. Thank goodness they mellow as they get older and with many reminders that life is passing by, the kids are growing up, and there is no getting back the time missed with family, it finally hits home. Hope your funk passes and you DS feels better so you do not fall behind more. You are amazing and I bet you get it all done.

Hello, everyone and Patty...What a great post this morning. I am feeling like everything is just so much work and keep forgetting how good I feel after it is done. You reminded me how special this time of year is and now I can't wait to get out my special decorations that I enjoy!

I pretty much have it down that I feel really good after exercising but there was no convincing me of it today. I am having bathroom issues today and I am staying close to home! Believe it or not I was all dressed and ready to go to the gym with keys in hand and well...I had to change my plans quickly. I thought it was over, but no. I am thinking I ate too much tofu yesterday. That is what I get for trying to eat healthfully.

So today is a day of going into the attic myself and getting down some of the decorations and hoping DH will get the tree out tonight.

I think I joined the local Red Hat Society. I sent an email and they took my info and I already got an email from Queen C and a schedule of events. I will call tonight and confirm everything. Too bad the December activities are conflicting with my schedule right now but it will good starting January. They sure have a lot planned already. Now I have to get a red hat!!

NANCY..."I think that every graham cracker within five miles got put into my mouth! And I was not hungry during that time. I ate out of stress and fatigue....and the worst part of it was that I KNEW what I was doing, why I was doing it and KEPT ON doing it!!!" Boy can I relate to this and I do love graham crackers too! It is a comfort food from my childhood. I am sure you will do better this week with the shorter work week and some time for yourself and recharging your batteries. Yes...thank goodness for new beginnings.

ERIN...You and DH really get up that early and do things? Wow...I am impressed! I can wake up that time but I will not budge from the bed. I keep thinking I will fall back to sleep!
Double impressed that you painted and then went Christmas shopping and decorated your tree on the same day. I think I need some of your energy! Do you have any to spare? Try to keep warm!

SUSAN...glad you are doing better and hope you don't have a big pile of stuff to do on your desk. Try to pace yourself and don't over do today.

DEB...another great day of working out and eating planned for you. I have to admire you dedication.

DEB/Mn...Good for you for getting a day "off"...LOL! I bet you work harder at home than if you went to work. How nice of DD to do the laundry!

LINDA...wondered where you were...glad to see you were busy with good things. Great going with the scouts and realizing you really want to stick with it. 80 degrees today? Wow...no wonder you have both winter and summer clothes going. Good luck finding room for it all and well, cleaning up will wait for you so don't sweat it. You have been doing some great things instead.

DONNA...what a wonderful full weekend you had! And then it ended with the Pats winning too! Now I am ready to go to one of our local performances of the Nutcracker. There are at least 3 and two of them at universities.

KAREN...well you know this is the place to rant and not be judged so please get it off your chest anytime. Hope you funk passes and DS feels better so you can get some things done on your list.

I think I got everyone so far today...
See you all later...

HUGS
