Y'know that moment when you finally let your mind grasp a reality you've been trying so hard to avoid?

How does that phrase go............Judy, Judy, Judy! Listen first off do not have to appoligize for one single word. Like Donna said I believe you spoke to many of us and for many of us. I agree last night I realized I need to refocus too and not wait until after the holidays. Because then I would be another 20 pounds heavier. So today I restarted my journel and I plan doing my best to make wise, smart, healthy choices. I need to get more sleep and get back to walking even if its only short walks. My husband "claims" that after the holidays he wants to join WW with me. I found those words unbelievable and I am still unsure if I really heard them. I have asked him for years to join and learn instead he would take the easy way and say you just fix everything for me. By going to the meetings together I think it will be even better support or understanding then I have had in years. Who know maybe I can get him to join the gym and we can go together at night a few times a week. Either way congrats to you on your realization and for sharing it with us!

Certainly no need to apologize for the length of the post. It was a great read and certainly echoed a lots of thoughts in my own head. That's great that your DH wants to join with you. Wish I could convince my DH to eat healthier and to get in some exercise but not looking like that's going to happen.

Nice to have you back from vacation and thanks for the post!

Judy, I'm right there with you! Sure wish Tim had time to work on fitness with me. It's so much better if you have a partner. Rob said he was going to start getting in shape once he found out about his test, so that would work too if he'd really do it.

Good for you for taking small steps. We all know that consistent steps, even small ones, work!
