So, did your timid tuesday come in like a lamb and go out like a lion? Did you accomplish something you didn't think you would get to today?
My day started off on the wrong foot with leaving the house without my handbag and having to turn back from the WW parking lot to go back and get it. Luckily I still made it in time for weigh in and meeting. Did I say luckily? I was up .4 lb. but I did get the new program. Now that is making lemonade out of lemons.
Can't think of anything that I did that was out of my comfort zone except asking about the extra $40 charge on my eye exam. I was told it was for retinol photography which I believe tests for macular degeneration and I did check no for that. Supposedly, they do it as part of their comprehensive eye exam...yeah right!
Getting ready to have salad for dinner with some leftover wild salmon in it and hoping that is it for eating for me tonight.
So let's hear it, lionesses!

Rhonda,
Last spring, my husband and I went through quite an ordeal with my FIL.

Thanks for sharing your story, Judy. I'm so sorry you all had to go through that for your FIL's procedure, but it sounds as though he's well now, which is great.
You can imagine how many medical personnel we have dealt with since Oct. '06 in 4 rehab/nursing homes and I think 4 or 5 hospital visits. My mom is amazing for all she has done and continues to do, particularly at her age. She can quote specific dates when things happened, when Dad was admitted or came home, has made a spreadsheet of his medicines with dosages and times they're taken each day (Tim set the format and she keeps it updated), and visits anywhere from 3 to 6 times a week, depending on Dad's condition.
Taking care of someone who's sick and elderly is not for sissies.

I knew you'd have to bite on that one!!!
A man door is the door that goes between a garage and the house!
Wowee, you snagged yourself a football player :) Cool!

Hmm...so does that imply that a woman never enters the home through the garage and
