Good morning ladies.
Rhonda, interesting description of a man door and it makes sense (as opposed to a pet door).
Good afternoon everyone! Got here pretty late since I took 3 classes this morning...only 2 1/2 hours not 3 hours..LOL! I took the 1/2 hour core class done with the fitness ball, the 1 hour inten-Sati class and then 1 hour yoga class. It was wonderful to stretch and end the workout relaxed. So...I didn't get home until noon and I was starving and etc.
So I guess I did get in two new workouts today...the core class and the yoga. Usually I would only do the Inten-sati class and I am just about fried after that but I pushed through the yoga class and it was just what I needed.
I wish I lived near you, Patty and Nancy, so I could show you a good weight workout too. You can do one is about 20 minutes. The idea is to do basics, like squats, lunges, biceps, triceps, etc with weights that are heavy enough so you are struggling to do the last rep. The amount of reps? 12 is a good number and you don't need to do more than one set. It is good to do when you are pressed for time or you want to get cardio and strength in the same workout. I will try to see if I can find the expert on that one.
Well...I just ate a brunch of a banana, an egg substitute omelet with broccoli, tomato and turkey slices on a flaxseed wrap with 9 grams of fiberand decaf green tea.

Hope you don't get the nasty weather that is being predicted this weekend Patty. We seem to be in the middle of that storm too.
Thank you for explaining what the service guy does. I hope he is the kind that tells you the positive things you do for those chickens. You certainly work hard for them.
The scale is moving here...but again in the wrong direction. Boo hiss on scales and they will not ruin our holidays...agreed? Good job on the workouts!
Hang in there..

Must have been a banner night for weird dreams again. I had some doozies and one kept me awake for over 2 1/2 hours. So you can see what kind of night I had. Actually I am glad you were able to get back to sleep after being sick. I am sure your body needed it. Mt Laundry reminded me of Mt Trashmore in Va Beach. They actually named the land over the landfill that and built a beautiful park with a lot of activities available. Makes me laugh everytime I think of it.
Did your computer get fixed at work? Looks like you are making headway there.
Good luck finding a tree. Let us know how it goes. I heard the trees are going to shed faster this year and I really would like a fresh cut one, but I was leary. So, if the trees look good...let us know.
Thanks

WTG with getting your planned workout in yesterday even with all the distractions. Dang scale and I have to get on the Doctor's scale tomorrow. Not looking forward to that at all since I seem to go up a little every time I go. I amj tired reading about your planned workout today.

WTG with putting up the Christmas lights. I am glad things are looking the way you would like it to look. Nothing like cheery lights to make things look right for the season.
Hope DH's overtime lets up soon even though the money is nice.
