Good Morning,
A not so nice day out there this morning weather wise. A mixed bag of "stuff" headed our way which by evening should make the roads interesting.
We did get our tree last night. Probably the fastest trip around the nursery yet. There sure were some big trees there with prices that just boggled the mind. I found the "perfect" tree although DH is claiming that I wouldn't have found it if he hadn't pulled out the skinny tree that we all gave the thumbs down to. We like nice fully rounded tree! I was pleasantly surprised when DS gave it the OK. He did have to walk around it once or twice looking for holes in its shape and had to do one final walk around the nursery to make sure! So now it stands in the living room with furniture that needs to be moved around and not sure when DD and I will decorate it but it does look nice just standing there naked.
Tonight is our office Christmas dinner when the bosses take the staff out. I'll have to make sure that I eat lightly during the day to make up for extra food this evening.
I got up super late this morning. I went to bed last night and the coughing now just seems to irritate me when I lay down. I ended up taking some to the cough medicine to quiet things down which it did in addition to knocking me out.
Patty-have fun getting into DH's drawers! I love that idea and probably wouldn't be a bad gift idea for DH! Although he seems to hold onto outdated cologne and aftershave more than underwear!
Nancy-hope you continue to feel better during the day. Thoughts and prayers going out to your Mom.
Rhonda-sorry to hear about your Dad. I hope you have some encouraging news today.
Karen-hope the medication is doing its thing for DS and that's he's feeling better.
Grace-hope you have a good checkup at the doctor.
Thankfuls this morning for familiar faces back on the board. So good to hear from Phyllis and Margo and Shar and thankful for all the new faces that have joined with us this year.
Thankful for the work opportunity that is being presented to DD.
Thankful for the upcoming baking weekend with DD. No matter how our cookies come out we'll have fun in the kitchen.
Thankful for overall good health, warm house, family and friends and you wonderful ladies that are a special part of my day.
Well better get moving, lots of work to catch up on in the office and need to pack my healthy supplies for the day.

Good afternoon everyone! My day is going pretty well and actually was a little productive. I taught my 8:30 body sculpting class in a freezing 53 degree room. Guess what...they finally got the AC working...thanks alot. But the humidity was so bad in that room, the floor warped and the mirrors were always fogged up. Not good so now they are "airing it out". Went to TJ Maxx and bought a couple of things including a not so exciting belt for DH so he can have something to open christmas Day. Went to the Doctor and things are pretty much the same. My bp was as good as it usually is and I couldn't convince him to take me off 1/2 of the lowest dose. Just burns me because I am on it because it is normal protocol after a heart attack and not because I have elevated bp. I asked for a more thorough blood work check and he is checking for cholesterol. He is pushing Zetia and I don't want to take it. I don't trust it and I am learning to go with my gut feeling with meds. I then went to Marshall's to kill some time since I had to fast 4 hours before the bloodwork and it was only 3 1/2. I got 2 pairs of workout pants and a very big peppermill for DH so he stops taking mine.

Glad you are feeling better Nancy...
Good planning with your eating. I wish I could eat artificial sweetner so I can enjoy some of those treats. WTG!

Today, I am so thankful to be able to be back in touch with all my friends; my online family.
I have such a wonderful friend who really felt so bad that I had no computer that when their new one came in, instead of turning in the old one, it was loaned to me for as long as I need it.
