How did your Day After go? Did you get to have some down time to recuperate and reflect on yesterday?

This is about it for down time for me. I am Tired with a capital T but sad at the same time. The North Carolina families are all leaving tomorrow.

Be like a postage stamp.  Stick to it until you get there.

I lost my post this morning. There's some kind of problem with AOL and iVillage, I guess.

Phyllis, I really appreciate you taking the time to express your feelings, thoughts, and experiences from this last year. I knew they'd be memorable. I heard about the dog on the news, and as tragic as the loss of his master was, I'm glad his family was able to keep him. It takes a special kind of person to do what the military does voluntarily and what you've volunteered to do. I wish I had the courage to do it, but I don't. Also, I wouldn't leave my parents now. Maybe one day I'll give something like that a try. I know you have a demanding schedule, but I hope you'll be able to post periodically. We all enjoy hearing from you and learning about what you're doing. Prayers and positive thoughts for a safe trip and continued success. Please express our gratitude and admiration to all the people you come in contact with. Let them know they're appreciated, regardless of what the mainstream media reports.

It was a good 'day after' here, too.
