Good morning, Patty and all!
I'm looking at a gray and drizzly Saturday.

If you don’t like how things are, change it! You’re not a tree. You have the ability to totally transform every area in your life—and it all begins with your very own power of choice. ~ Wonderful thought for the day!!

Patty, I love the quote you posted today. I should stick that on the refrigerator. Also, so happy to hear you're going to be making changes you've wanted in CL and that you and Rick are both so happy about the direction of your business. 2008 may be a fabulous year for you! How was Ryan's birthday? Has he made a definite decision about moving out? If so, when? I may have missed that.
Donna, it's great that you go for the brightly colored coats. I think most of us tend to go for darks and neutrals, so it's cheery to see someone out and about in a bright color, particularly when the weather is dark and gray. I do have one wind breaker that's a reddish shade of bright orange that I enjoy wearing because of the color. Please tell Kathy she and her dad are my thoughts and prayers.
Margo, that new yoga mat definitely sounds as though it was fate. Use it in good health and have fun.
MN-Deb, Maggie sounds adorable and like so much good company.
I got very little sleep again last night. Kept tossing and turning, kicking covers off and covering back up, hearing Tim snore (a lot), and then woke up at 5-something with quite a headache over my right eyebrow. Thing is, I've talked to Lauren and Tim and they, Cheryl, and Lisa all have headaches too. I'm wondering if it's the change in barometric pressure or something. Lisa is sick and still on antibiotics, so that may have something to do with hers too. I got up to go to the bathroom, got up again to get a magnet for my head, kept looking at the clock because I was supposed to be sure Rob got up in time to go to the airport to get his friend (I called him on his cell phone, which we use like an intercom. :-), and then got up again to go to the bathroom, which is very unusual for me. I finally took some ibuprofen and am drinking some hot tea, hoping the caffeine will boost the med.
Mom and Cheryl should be on their way to the nursing home by now. Lauren's taking the girls a little later. It will be a little later for me too, since I'm still sitting here in my pj's. Tim went to the office, but said he hasn't been able to be "brilliant" and is really tired, so he's coming home pretty soon to nap. He still isn't over whatever he has, plus major stress.
Lauren would like to get by a mall while she's here, so for some reason, she asked if I'd liked to go. I don't understand that... ;-) That's why I'll probably wind up skipping church. She'll need transportation, so I have to coordinate it with whenever someone out where she is will be coming out this way. I do have a Simon gift card and a small Best Buy gift card that I could use. I wound up giving the $100. Mom gave to me to Rob in separate boxes for his Christmas gifts. I wanted him to have something to open and it helped give him enough to get his new iPod. He needs to show me how to use the Zune he gave me.
It was in the 80's here yesterday and poor Lauren was saying she was going to have to buy some short sleeved shirts, because all she brought was jeans and long sleeves. It looks overcast and is probably only mid-60's or so today. We're going to take the girls to the Chick Fil-A playground near the nursing home to let them burn off some energy today. Actually, there's a mall right there. We could go by the mall today. The selection isn't as good as ours, but she should be able to find some decent jeans there.
I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Good Morning or almost afternoon here on the East Coast,
A dreary Saturday out there. It had rained over night and early this morning and although at times it looks like the sun is trying its hardest it's not working well.
I did arise to get some walking time in on the treadmill. Although the scale hasn't moved in either direction the fluff is fluffing all over.
I did wake up with a scratchy throat and a bit of headache which I was relating to the weather and hoping that after I got up it would go away. However the headache has only gotten worse and the scratchy throat remains and now just feels more like a cold coming on. I do hope that's not the case and I took some Tylenol hoping to beat back the headache but if it's sinus related probably not going to do much of anything.
We had a nice time at DD's BF place last night. They catered in and the food was good and although the two families have met before it was nice to get together to offer each other congratulations on the engagement.
DH's niece and her husband were supposed to be there last night and their son's birthday party is supposed to be today but she broke out in a terrible case of the hives. I haven't heard from anyone about how she is or what they're going to do.
I've been out and about this morning. First to Costco, Linen's & Things, Pier One for my favorite cranberry balsam candles that are 50% off and to the post office. There's so much to do around here but I guess because I'm not feeling 100% also feeling a bit overwhelmed. I think I'll put my mind on cleaning the nonsense out of refrigerator. It's a bit of a danger zone in there!
Rhonda, glad that the meeting went well yesterday. Margo, congratulations on that 15 lb loss. Donna-happy coat shopping! Patty-hope your plans for CL go well. Congratulations on the good flock. Keeping Kathy's dad in my thoughts and prayers. I know that roller coaster ride and it is certainly draining for everyone.
That's about it from my neck of the woods. Hope everyone is enjoying a super Saturday!

Nancy, no wonder you feel your brain is leaking like a sieve, with so much going on with your Mom.

Good morning ..
It's a bit dreary here too accompanied by some snow flurries.. Probably not walking outside and unfornately I still need to find my way downstairs to the elliptical and treadmill.
