The day was good. I've been a bit like Eeyore lately, as you may have detected, but Dad had another good day and walked for the first time since before he went in the hospital on Dec. 2nd!! He walked part of the way down the hall with his walker, the gait belt on, his PT spotting him, and another aide walking behind with the wheelchair and feeding tube. The rest of us were like a parade. He rested
Congratulations on getting in so much exercise today! Our trees are still up too, but I did start gathering together some of the other decorations that were in the great room, so I can pack them away. I heard we're supposed to go down to 23 (in parts of town) at night within
I lost the battle with the rest of the cookies today. As always, I did well with the exercise but bad with the eating. Sigh...some things never change. But, they sure will for 2008! Bought some more holiday clearance items at Linen and Things, Pier 1 and Ulta. I think I found some of those candles that Susan was talking about at Pier 1.
I think Kathy is having the best day of all of us with her Dad coming out of the coma. Rhonda must be having a close second with her Dad walking and eating. Great news, gals!
DH and I brought over a Fisher Price doctor kit for granddaughter. She was napping but called as soon as she saw it to say "sank you, Hamma". Daddy has a fever and his heart is good...LOL!
DH decided that we should start 2008 with a healthy dinner of shushi.

I think you need to do a little Zumba demo for the ladies!
I’m busy cooking – lasagna, bratwurst, hot sausage, salad for our dinner.

Be like a postage stamp. Stick to it until you get there.
