Kind of a quiet day on the work front without the boss being in. Of course he was on the phone and sending me messages to take care of all day. Temperature was about the same in the office although by afternoon I was able to shed one sweater. They've had more complaints into the landlord of the building and the poor maintenance guy does try to do his best but doesn't always succeed.
I wimped out on Otto this evening. It's cold and it's dark and I'm not sure with still not feeling the best that I just didn't have it in me for putting on enough layers to go out the door with him.
DH did brave the cold though and got the spare tire off and my brand new tire on. Thank you dear!
I have a load of wash in the dryer and one in the washer but not feeling real inspired to take care of that. There's just some days I wish magic people would appear to tend to that stuff!
Well off to decide the chair and a book or the laundry room hmmmm.....thinking carefully!
Another late post for me. I've been at the nursing home much of the time this week. Dad is doing better, and today was his first day with the feeding tube out during the day. It gives him much more freedom in the wheel chair and in PT. The apparatus for his wheel chair came today, which will allow the feeding liquid to be suspended from it instead of having to wheel a separate piece of eqp. around. If he has to use the tube during the day again that will come in handy. He did well with his assisted walking today too.
I rented "The Guardian" last night, so Tim could see it. It really is a very good movie. Rob and I had already seen it, and he's bought some special blue ray copy. I took it with me today, and we set up in the
