Definitely a post directed right my way. This is something that runs through my mind so frequently and a constant source of frustration for me. My days seem to be filled with work and things that need to be done at home that there seems to be little time left for anything else. I have this discussion with my younger daughter all the time and always seem to come up against a brick wall about what to do about it.
My day started off a bit on the late side but a good night's sleep and the antibotic seem to have me feeling better this morning. The day also started off with me still wondering what is wrong with men. DH is supposed to start call in for jury duty. He was anticipating all types of problems at work when he got the notice and my suggestion was that he call and ask for a postponment which you're entitled to. Nope he didn't do that and now I got the frantic phone call that he needs the number for a postponment. Told him that I'm not sure they're going to do that at this late date and then the whole rant and rave started. Well....if you had listened to my suggestion when you got the notice....but I don't like to say I told you so and I didn't but I sure did think it. He's getting more and more like his Dad who I loved dearly but it was an understatement when I say that he could be difficult and a hard man to live with. There are just so many that traits are becoming more and more apparent with each passing year and I'll just say it's really scary! And although I love my DH he does drain me dry with his negative way of thinking.
Other than the 9 to 5 nothing much going on around here. It will be the usual quiet night around here. I hope to have another new tire on the front of my car and hopefully the rear ones on by next week. That will be a very good thing.
Rhonda-good news about your Dad! Enjoy the rest of the family visit!
Hope everyone will be enjoying a fabulous Friday! TGIF! Love 3 day work weeks!
That is the Blue From Cold icon. Believe it or not, it was supposed to get down to 20 night-before-last (coldest in 5 years here), but I don't think it got that low. Last night was supposed to be upper 20's. I haven't stepped outside yet, but it is bright and sunny. If we make it to 60 today that
Patty, another very thought provoking post. We are so blessed to have you! The second hand stress from Tim and worrying about the effects of stress on him definitely get me down. I think we've learned a bit this last year and we will handle it better now, at least I hope so.
I realize that I need something more social for me. I crave being out around people some of the time, so I have to find something that will be flexible enough
