Good morning everyone. Nancy, what is a floater? I hope your knee pain is gone by your trip.Kathy, thinking of you and your dad. Rhonda, I know you must be having fun with Jackson!

You simply will not be the same person two months from now after consciously giving thanks each day for the abundance that exists in your life. And you will have set in motion an ancient spiritual law: the more you have and are grateful for, the more will be given you."
~ Sarah Ban Breathnach ~
Simple Abundance

So what are you thankful for today? One big special thing? Lots of little

Patty, 'floater' is my inexact term for what I have.

Good Morning,

The spring like wierd January weather continues here on LI. It certainly does make dog walking in the evening more enjoyable except for it being dark-can't do anything about that part.

Today is Thursday and the weekend is getting closer. It's been a very busy week at work and I expect today will be another one.

Up before the appointed hour this morning when awakened by Otto scratching at the back door to go out. Of course that didn't get me to the basement any faster this morning but I did get down there. I was actually going to use the elliptical for a change of pace but realized the power strip was gone and no way to get to the outlet so it was back to the treadmill for a quick wake me up and then on to a lower body workout. I've been making sure to get some stretching in every morning and that always feels so good.

All my Christmas stuff has left my living room although apparently DH didn't want me to move the bins and would have rather had them remain in the living room so he could clean up the basement space. Not quite trusting that he would get to that project this weekend and me just really wanted everything out of there. I moved everything to a temporary spot in the other portion of the basement. That way he can clean up that spot and I'll be happy having the living room clear of everything. I'm hoping he'll get the tree out before Saturday morning so I can have a clean slate on Saturday to do a really thorough cleaning without having to move things around which takes up so much time.

Pretty much same old same old around here. Hopefully some after dinner dog walking and now that Christmas is packed up I have to get started again in my desk area. I tend to jump around from project to project without finishing the first so now it's concentration on shredding and cleaning up down here. Hopefully a few minutes each night will keep me going. Now I have to remember to remind DH to unclog the shredders!

Thankfuls: That wonderful aroma of freshed brewed coffee in the morning. Nice dog walking weather. A so much improved office atmosphere with someone who is so pleasant to work with. Home, family & friends-especially all of you here! Working so close to home.

That's about it from my neck of the woods. Need to pack up my belongings and get on out of here. It's a good thing I do work close to home or I would be perpetually late!

I had arthroscopic surgery when I was about 42 to have scar tissue removed from the back of my right knee cap. I had injured it bending down to water under a bush when I was 19!! The surgery wasn't bad at all, but I couldn't stand to use crutches. After the first day I just hobbled around without them. Hope your surgery won't be any worse than that. I still get a little swelling or an ache in the knee occasionally, but it's very seldom.

Hugs,

       ~~Rhonda~~
