I'm thinking that Debbie is sleeping late after spending the night digging a hole and then getting the shovel up to Susan who then dug her hole and then took the shovel to Wyoming for Karen.
I did not have to dig the hole so I shipped that shovel to Casper for the next person to use.....he has redeemed himself for the moment but remember he is a guy and they do slip back often. I did head upstairs around 10:30 but Aunt Flo gave me a hard time last night. Funny last month she was mild and I thought, maybe all these tests and talk about "helping" her out might be a waste of time, guess what........she needs help. I had such belly cramps and
Glad to hear Bill is on the road to redemption and the boys are having a good time. They should love the Daytona USA experience exhibit at the track. I pass by it on I-95 when I come and go to Orlando. Did they mention crossing a really long bridge right before Orange Park? Orange Park is on the west side of it and my side of town is on the east side of it. I'm like the 2nd exit and 3 miles down with a few turns thrown in. What a small world!!
Hope your tummy feels better soon and glad you didn't have to use the shovel, if for no other reason than to spare your back. ;-)
Congratulations to the Pats, Donna! I watched only bits and pieces, because I'm not THAT big of a masochist. ;-) If you'd like to see what our paper's headlines and sports headlines were, you can go here: www.jacksonville.com. It was all over the place and very complimentary about the Pats.
Busy morning for me. I've been up since 6:15 attempting to get caught up on laundry and various other things before heading to the grocery store. I had virtually nothing on my list and ended up spending over $150. Of course it would have been less but didn't notice that the cashier hadn't taken my coupons off.
I asked H (yes, the D is off intentionally) if there was any specific reason why he went off his medication-his answer, because I'm tired of taking pills. We also had the discussion about how it's all over the medication that you shouldn't stop taking it abruptly but rather be taken off of it gradually-his answer-that doesn't apply to me. So how do you respond to that? He also denied the fact that he tried this once before and almost drove us all stark raving mad. Those couple of weeks are etched into my brain rather solidly so I know it's not a product of my imagination. So it looks like I'm going to be seeking a new kind of normal around here. Bobcats, shovels anyone?
After grocery shopping I went for a mani/pedi. My poor toes were looking really awful and I just really enjoy that time. The one indulgence that I so really enjoy.
DH is out to parts unknown. He mentioned he might go out but haven't heard from him so no clue what he's doing. So I'm enjoying the quiet of the house at the moment.
I was going to go over to Linens & Things since they're having a clearance sale and see if I could get a new set of sheets for the bed. The sets that I have have definitely seen better days. I've also run out of moisturizer and could stand a run to Ulta. I also want to make up some soup for tomorrow night's dinner. I found a recipe that I would like to try and thought it might be a good idea to make it today so I just have to heat and serve tomorrow. I also have bills to pay and get my checkbook back in order. I have a paper trail on my desk that needs to be taken care of as well. Reading would also be nice a good idea. There's always laundry too. So many decisions!
Otto and I will head out for a walk at some point in the afternoon to enjoy some sunshine.
Karen-thinking about you and hope that somehow this is a better day.
Donna-congrats to the Pats!
Li/Deb-glad to hear that things are improved for the moment on your end of LI. Hope your boys enjoy Daytona. Phil was down there not too long ago and absolutely loved it. Hope they have a safe trip home.
Terry and Judy-hope you're both feeling better.
Patty-your girl time sounded like a fun day.
Rhonda-hope the stress level at your house eases up. So much going on between your Dad and Tim's stress level sure don't do much for yours.
Well better figure out what I'm doing with the rest of my afternoon before it's evening. Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday.

Happy Sunday!
A lovely day outside - cold again, but nice and sunny.
