I actually enjoyed reading your post today, Karen! I am glad things are thawing between you and DH. Why to some men wait until things build up to the point when they have to explode? OH, well....must be that xy thing. Oh I have a pressure cooker with the little thingy that jiggles...works like a charm. What fun is it using a pressure cooker unless you can't experience the unknown of whether your food will end up on the ceiling or not?
Doesn't the house look fresh after all the Christmas clutter is put away. You sure must have had a lot of stuff to do with going for 6 hours.
Have to agree with everything you had to say today, Judy. With being sick, I am missing my groove of exercising. I attempted it today, but I am not really ready yet. Really have to listen to my body more (especially after the heart attack). Can't wait to get back to my routine after vacation.
Glad to see you are back in your groove today with walking at lunch time.
My mom took Katie to the doctor for me...........guilty mom typing here. She has a bad case of Bronchitis and the doctor put her on two different meds....one is the 5 day antibiotic so we can knock this bug out of her as quickly as possible. They want her to rest, drink plenty of fluids and stay put since they always worry about pneumonia. That would not be good with her heart condition so mom took her home and warmed up some of the homemade chicken soup. Mom then dropped off the prescriptions at the drug store. Unfortunaly my mom only stayed for 30 minutes ( I do not understand why she could not have stayed and kept her company until close to 2:00 when my nephew heads home but I guess I have to be happy with what she gave me/Katie) then left. I picked up her script and then went home at lunch time. I stayed until 2:00 and I had her teachers fax her homework so she had stuff to do tomorrow since I know she will be home again. I already told my co-worker that I would not be in since I feel I need to be home with her. I will work on Friday instead to make up those hours. Right now she is resting on the couch and reading her book for the SS book report that has to be written tonight or tomorrow. Better get done so I can be off tomorrow.
Grace, I hope you're able to kick this thing soon. If it's what I had back a few months ago that got me off track with Zumba and other physical activity, it took 3 weeks to get over it mainly and a few more weeks to feel just kind of normal and not short of breath when I did things.
I know that plateau. I don't remember seeing so many things going around at the same time as they have this year and they all seem really difficult to kick. I don't whether it's this unusual weather or just that there are a million and one bugs in the air!
Hope you're feeling better and that your plans for your trip go off as planned.

You enjoy cleaning? Want to do my house next?
Have a great week.

I hope Katie is feeling better soon and that the boys get home safely. It's always scary when kids are away from home, even if they're grown.
This is the bridge I was asking about, but it's an awful picture. It's 4 regular lanes
