How did your day go? Anyone snowed in, or was it just enough to be pretty? It made it to 61 here today with a brisk breeze, so I was cold. I had on a sweatshirt and a windbreaker -- watery, Florida blood, I guess. Let us know what happened with you today.

Certainly nothing exciting here. The day was damp and dreary and not sure whether it was that or just that I was hungry all day. I had to laugh when my boss came back from court and came in with a bag of baby carrots and a container of chocolate covered jelly rings. I wanted to know if the carrots were supposed to be inserted inside the holes of the jelly rings. We have 3 female associates who are the worst chocolate, sugar demons I've ever encountered and of course one skinnier than the other. So the jelly rings were for them and the carrots for my boss who's doing a really good job on WW. It still made me laugh!

The soup was a bit disappointing this evening. It's not that I didn't like it it was just one of those things where it wasn't what I was looking for. Rhonda's chicken sounds good so maybe I'll head to her house for a 2nd dinner!

Headed out with Otto after dinner and didn't realize that it was lightly misting. For the dog who doesn't like to get wet he sure took his sweet meandering time. Another one of those night where my arm was stretched from behind me!

I think I should probably head to the bathroom and brush my teeth before I decide I should have a snack this evening. Yes, still feeling hungry!

Hope you've all had a good day!

Susan

Already told you Katie has bronchitis so that was the highlight of my day. Work was busy but not crazy. With my boss being gone from 9 till 3 it made for a much quieter day. Got a lot done and decided that tomorrow I will stay home and be with Katie. I came home at lunch and warmed my left over Chinese food from Saturday night, folded a batch of laundry and made my bed since I did not do it this morning. I stayed until 5:20 to finish a file so tomorrow I should not get any phone calls. Bill is working late to finish a job that needed to go and had to be done by him. Everyone else is gone and I am sure he is quiet busy up there. Katie and I had some spagetti for dinner. I made a blueberry quick bread (see Rhonda and Karen you are not the only ones, lol) and I have a feeling Bill will call a slice of that dinner with a cup of decaf coffee. Last talk the boys are in Maryland and should arrive late. I already decided since I am not going to the office tomorrow there is no reason for me to get up early and walk so I am going to grab the moment and run with it. I hope to sleep in with Katie, stay in my PJ's and relax with her. She has a book report to do and that will keep her busy and me too. Well she wants me to watch that new dancing show too. I was not impressed last week either Rhonda, actually I only watched about 45 minutes last Monday but Katie enjoyed it. Well hope everyone had a good day and has a pleasent evening.

It was cold here today and didn't warm up past the teens.

Dad is doing surprisingly well, all things considered, and Mom is doing well too, thanks. He has to have the feeding tube at night again, because he's just not eating enough even with all the treats we bring him. He did do well with an Arby's jamocha shake yesterday, but it's not enough. Mom said he ate pretty well at lunch today. She said he did well in physical therapy today and was discussing football and politics with guys in there! All right, Dad!

Surely, the teacher was jesting when she asked if your kids were married! I think it would be kind of fun to have a class with a sibling. We were too far apart in age to ever have that.

Well, now, you may be in for the same kind of evening I am!! Let's hope it works out well for all of us. LOL! We'll probably be in a food coma and fall asleep!!

Nancy, I'm starting to get the impression that you don't like the cold... ;-) Join the club!

You'll be looking sharp when you head out for your trip. Tell me again where you're cruising. I can't remember.
