The temperature has definitely dropped a few degrees during the course of the day. There was enough of a dip and the wind picked up enough that dog walking was a little nippy. There are certain nights where I really enjoy the quiet of the night and there's other nights where I feel kind of creepy. Tonight was the creepy kind. I guess with the wind blowing there was extra clanging and other odd noises. I was glad to run into some fellow dog walkers although they were headed in the opposite direction.

XY's continue to amaze me. Started with the XY boss this morning when I got called into his office for something my coworker did. So why's he talking to me and not her-was I supposed to pass the word on? Discussion the other night with H (the D is still not quite there yet) about please load the dishwasher while I'm out with Otto and then there's no issue with Otto putting his 56 lb body on the dishwasher door and licking everything in sight which then makes everybody yell at the dog. I'm out for at least 30 to 45 minutes every night-plenty of time to put a few dishes in the dishwasher and put any leftover in the refrigerator. Not only was the big XY guilty of not listening but the younger XY as well. I ask why do you walk right past the dishwasher and put the plate in the sink. His response was I didn't want to put the plate on the counter. So in other words you can't open the dishwasher with your right hand and place the dish in the dishwasher with your left and here I thought he was mechanically inclined. But then I was told that he couldn't do that because he was talking to H about torque something or other. So that means you can't chew gum and walk at the same time. I think somewhere along the line he gave up and figured he might have lost the argument. Also managed to nab the cookies left on the table before a certain 4 legged one nabbed them first.

DD called a place that she and her BF are very interested in having their wedding reception. They went to a wedding there and said the food was wonderful and the place was really beautiful. She made an appointment on Saturday for them to have a look at it and I guess they'll find out whether it would be within their budget. DD also has been cutting out dresses she likes along with mother of the bride dresses. Everything seems so far off but I know a year and a half will pass very quickly. Looks most likely to be a July 2009 wedding.

I have a laundry chute that's exploding but not thinking I have any desire to do any type of household chore this evening. The day has worn me out a bit and ready to sit and not do anything.

Rhonda-hope you get some sleep tonight. Grace-safe travels and a wonderful visit with your family. Li-Deb-hope Katie is feeling better. Donna-hope your house is back to toasty warm. Glad you had a nice warm place to go to last night. Patty-hope you had a good time today and good luck with your plans for CL. Thinking good thoughts for your sister. Nancy-curious to hear about your detox.

Well I think my chair is calling me! Hope you've all had a good day and enjoy a good night's rest.

I FINALLY made it back to Zumba! It felt so good, but I'm going to be really sore tomorrow after such a long lay-off. She worked us hard tonight, but I knew all but 2 of the routines even after being away. I was proud that I kept my pace up the whole time. We're having a Zumbathon the last Friday of the month, and I think it will have to be held in the new gymnasium to hold everyone. Our big room was packed tonight, and we have way more for the Zumbathons.

Do you know who the ion detox machine was made by? Negative ions are good for treating all kinds of things. Can't wait to see if you notice a positive difference.
