Good morning everyone. Ok another offer of the free chicken/DH....guess what color this mornings post is in and why and they are yours.Oh wait..I don't have any chickens right now. Ok, maybe 2 DHs. I feel certain I can find another woman in my town willing to give hers up for a good cause. :)

I read an article online today that said instead of willpower we need to have WANT power to make changes. We need to want to make changes and to do what is needed to make those changes. I think

Good Morning,

Bright blue skies this morning. Not sure what the temperature is like since I haven't stuck my head out the door as of yet.

Not sure how I got up for a workout this morning since I have absolutely no recollection of turning the alarm off this morning. I remember turning it on last night but that's it. But I did wake up at the appointed hour and got myself down to the basement. I've doing some different things and there are several muscle groups that apparently have been woken up a bit.

I've spent part of my morning getting a Burgundy beef stew into the crockpot for dinner this evening. I did get quite a look this morning from DS as I stood there with my bottle of burgundy and a corkscrew. I just told him that I thought a bottle of red might make my work day more interesting. He shakes his head and walks away. It takes up some of my morning but so worth it when I don't have to think about doing much coming in the door after the workday. Beef is a pretty rare commidity in this household since the main chef prefers chicken :) but everyone once in a while I figure DH would like a meat and potatoes kind of meal.

Off to the working world for the 9 to 5. I do hope the XY's in the office are in good humor today. One of the associates had some kind of stomach virus going on on Monday and was out yesterday. She has a child in daycare and seems like she's been sick pretty much every month since the fall. We're really hoping she hasn't spread her disease!

DH saw his former coworker yesterday whose little boy has cancer. They sure have been on a roller coaster ride and continue on that ride. There are still cells there and they have him on a treatment that is very effective against this form of cancer but is also very painful. Apparently this treatment will continue over the course of the next 2 years. So if you could please keep Luke and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Patty-I love your response to the dirty dishes I will have to give that a try. Rhonda-good for you getting back to Zumba! Margie-thinking of you this morning while on the treadmill wondering if you were pedaling away at the same time! Nancy-I'm curious to know whether you'll see any difference in your energy after the detox. Li-Deb-how are you feeling and how's Katie feeling? J/Z=Deb-such great news about being an instructor. I can see where kids and adults would love you as an instructor. Your love for fitness really shines through! Grace-hope you have a safe trip and a great time with your family. Karen-you exhaust me with your day to day schedule! Hope everyone feeling under the weather are feeling better. Thinking of you all and wishing everyone a wonderful Wednesday!

My DH has a picture of me that he carries that's from about 20 years ago and we've looked at some of our pics back then and groan - because we sure got out of shape since then!!

Looks like Sprue is insistent (and persistent) on the family using pieces of toilet paper vs. taking it from the roll ... he is at it again!

I have to put the celebration emoticon choice on this post as we saw actual sunshine here yesterday.

I've spent way more time on the computer than I should have, but HAD to find out about that book Paper Tiger, which turned out to be Paper Lion. I know, weird...

Need to get dressed and head to the nursing home for a couple of hours. I'll get to visit with Mom and Ace (the wonder dog) while I'm there. Need to make a trip to the grocery store and to Walmart.

There's another Zumba class tonight and I'm debating about going. Don't want to overdo it since I'm just getting back into it, but I need the exercise. This instructor isn't nearly as good as Christine -- not as good a dancer or choreographer -- but she's so cheerful and energetic that I found I still enjoy her class. I can put my own "flava" on the moves like we do in the other class.
