Good morning everyone. Ok another offer of the free chicken/DH....guess what color this mornings post is in and why and they are yours.Oh wait..I don't have any chickens right now. Ok, maybe 2 DHs. I feel certain I can find another woman in my town willing to give hers up for a good cause. :)

I read an article online today that said instead of willpower we need to have WANT power to make changes. We need to want to make changes and to do what is needed to make those changes. I think

Since I seem to have entered the world of sleeplessness which I have come to find out is inhabited by my sisters and many of my friends, I have one question:

Is anyone on this board able to go to bed, fall asleep, not toss and turn, not wake up at 2am and it feels like 6am, and finally not just get up at 4am because you'd love to sleep til 5 or 6am but you're wide awake?

Next ? - who takes sleeping pills?

The difference between now and other times in my life, is that I can see those pants in my mind's eye when I make a decision about eating and working out.

I go in cycles with my sleeping where I really sleep well and there's the other times. I usually don't have trouble falling asleep, it's more staying asleep or waking up much too early.

Do you have a lot of caffeine during the day. I found that caffeine even in the early part of the afternoon lingers with me. I gave up fully caffeinated coffee in the afternoon and drink half caffeine/half decaf. I also found that when I was trying to work out in the evening that was causing a sleep problem too. So maybe all the exercising you do might play a factor in it as well.

Sleep disturbances are the worst and even worse when you work a desk job and try to figure out how you can nap while still looking you're working!
