Good Morning,

Kind of a gray looking day out there this morning. Not much inspiration at 7AM to head outside for a walk but I did head downstairs for some treadmill time and weights.

Not much thinking on a weekend but always seems like a lot of working. The usual try to get the house back in shape. I have to figure out what to do with this poiensetta plant that DH brought home. The thing must be at least 3 1/2 feet tall and I have absolutely nowhere to put this thing. Not sure where he got this thing although my thinking is from church. It's obviously a rescue plant and it's sitting smack dab in the middle of the living room. I've asked where I'm supposed to put it and definitely not getting a response. He also brought home 2 others that are a bit smaller that I also have no place to put. They're now dropping their leaves and making a bit of a mess and when they die off they'll still remain as he'll try to bring them back to life. I guess it's better than boxes! I think I'll spend the morning cleaning up upstairs and then down the basement and try to tackle this paper pile that I keep talking about and avoiding and while I'm down here tackle the laundry. The chute was empty yesterday but saw DS come by with another big stack last night. I'm still waiting for the shredder to unclogged. DH is upstairs trying to figure out why there's water dripping from the freezer into the refrigerator. He's usually pretty good about figuring things out but this one has me a little nervous. He already said that we may have to get someone in here to look at it and the last thing we need is another trip to Sears for another new appliance. We've had really bad luck with refrigerators since we've lived there. I think this our 3rd in 15 years.

I should get my sneakers on and head to the bank and put some gas in my car. Quite frankly I'm feeling a bit on the lazy side this morning which means I need to get myself moving. Otto and I will have to head out for a walk this morning. Thursday it was raining and last night well....I was just too comfortable to get out the door. But today we'll be able to walk in the light of day. I actually have something for dinner planned as well...chicken!

That's my day hope everyone under the weather is feeling better. Those of you suffering from sleep deprivation hope you were able to get some sleep. Wishing everyone a super Saturday!

Susan

Morning everyone, talk about sluggish and gray days I got it here. I made it through my day at the office slow but sure, kind of like a turtle. Boss stayed out of my way for he knew I was cracky and not feeling fell. Although I did last until 3:00 when it was time to meet Katie at the bus stop. Came home and took another dose of the Tylonal Severe Cold medicine, and headed to the barn. I dropped her off then went to the bank then 7/11 for large cup of hot tea. Back home and, freshened up and out to dinner with my co-workers. I really wanted to get under my blankets but we had planned our dinner so many weeks ago. One of the older ladies I work with is officially retiring. She only worked 3 mornings a week but she needs to

HI! Having a very lazy day here today. Snow is in the forecast and I am keeping my fingers crossed the gymnastics meet isn't cancelled. Go figure...I come to NC to see granddaughters compete and now we are worrying about snow. It will be a mess since they are not used to it here at all. Of course, the weather forecast keeps changing and the forecast is calling for a smaller amount of snow and ending earlier than expected. This could be a good thing.

Feeling better each and every day but still feeling unmotivated. No sun is adding to that. I am going to just enjoy the rest of my "vacation" and get back into working out once I get home. Have it all planned already for Wednesday and Thursday. Sorry to hear more of you have that nasty virus/cold thing going on. It really is bringing a lot of people down for the count.

I think I need to go away more often. I am sleeping the best I have in a long time. So, my Rx for everyone that is having sleep disturbances, chuck it all and go away. Oh yeah...not very practical. Sorry but I do know what you are all going through. I have learned to live with it and I don't stress anymore while I lay in bed and watch TV. I heard that just resting is as restorative as actually sleeping. I am still convincing myself of that. Thank goodness I am not waitressing anymore on top of helping with the business and teaching exercise classes.

Well...enjoy whatever you have planned today. I do hope you have something nice planned instead of cleaning, laundry, etc. WTG all of you that have done your exercise.

Grace
