It's a balmy 16 here. Yes, Otto and I did go walking yesterday. Lots of layers and stayed pretty warm except my fingers. My gloves definitely aren't warm enough. Otto tends to walk to the left of me so those fingers were numb by the time I got home. Would never have gone in the dark! At least there was a little bit of sunshine when we went out.
I'm enjoying a totally unexpected day off. One boss that he had closed the office last year-fine by me if that's what he thought! Hope he has that thought every year. Too bad my inner work alarm clock woke me up at 4:30. I dozed on and off for about an hour and finally got up at 6 and headed to the basement for a workout.
Headed to Target for a few exciting things like a new mop, a spare mop sponge. The most exciting thing I bought was new earphones for my shuffle. I was tempted to go to the mall and see what was on sale but I'm really trying to watch my spending. So thought better of it and decided not to risk temptation. It's always when I'm trying not to spend money that I find things.
After lunch I'm going to try to straighten up down here a bit more. I got a ton of paper shredded yesterday and unfortunately looking at the rug down here you can tell what I was doing.
A turkey meatloaf is on the dinner menu this evening and if I feel really brave I'll get Otto out and about in the late afternoon sunshine. I was the only one out and about yesterday afternoon!
DD is going to have an interesting Super Bowl Sunday with her BF being a huge Pats fan and his roommate being an avid Giants fan. Wouldn't want to be in that house that day!
Karen-really sorry to hear about the TV situation. Hope things have simmered down.
That's about it from here. Hope everyone is feeling better and those of you in the deep winter freeze hope you're nice and warm. Have a magnificent Monday!

It's a very toasty 32 degrees in comparison to your 7.
Good morning everyone.

Good morning, everyone!
It's bright and sunny but really cold today.

I'm so excited we got above zero, even though it's only 3 above and the wind is still keeping it below! Yipee anyway!
