And she's off, well almost.

I should leave my camera out to take a picture of my friend's face when she sees all the stuff I'm bringing for this two day Zumba extravaganza.

Good Morning,

So what time are we meeting at the cafe? I actually think that picture was a screensaver on someone's computer at work. It's really beautiful and I'm so ready to be there!

Up early and was contemplating a walk outside but it didn't look like the sun was coming out and feeling a bit chilled when I went to move my car I opted for the basement and the treadmill and some weight work.

Made an early morning run to Costco. I haven't been there in awhile and trying to stretch my visits there to once a month. I was out of a lot of things and that bill mounted up quickly. Also made an unexpected trip to Linens & Things. DH called and was regrouting the bathroom and asked if I could pick up a new shower pole thing for the bathroom since the finish was coming off the old one and was rather nasty.

DD came in and I was talking to her for a bit before she headed back to BF's apartment. She has a bad cold and is feeling a bit under the weather. They were supposed to be looking at reception places but she decided tomorrow might be a better day.

Still have to put my Costco items away, unload the overflowing laundry chute and get some laundry going. I also have weekend house and my living room is full of boy stuff. I don't know why that's the chosen place. I guess it's just convenient.

The H is in a mood so I'm trying to steer clear. I made my appointment with the therapist which will be 2/7. I am glad that I've taken that step.

I can't believe where the morning has gone so I better get started for the day. I guess my biggest excitement will be trying out my new mop and bucket!

Patty-sorry to hear you're dealing with the hormone and headache issues. Sounds like a good thing you noticed the swelling in your FIL. Hope he's OK.

Deb/MN-hope the headache eases up for you. These college decisions can be so difficult. My oldest knew exactly where she wanted to go and the younger pretty much narrowed it down quickly. I hated those FASA forms. Eight years of them and almost threw a party when I knew the last one was done and in the mail!

J-Deb-have a great time!

LI-Deb-how are you feeling?

Donna-how's the back feeling?

Margo-choices for dinner sound great!

Well really better run since the morning is almost gone! Hope everyone has a super Saturday!

Patty, meeting somewhere sounds great to me!! I wish we all lived closer. That would solve many of our problems like having someone to workout with, to help us eat better (or splurge with), to gang up on our family members when they get out of line, and to just have fun with.

I'd wanted to work in the yard today, but so far it's still overcast and pretty damp out. I have plenty to do in the house, but I just don't feel like doing it.

We are supposed to go to dinner and a movie tonight, after I probably guilt tripped Tim into it yesterday. We'll see how things go when he gets home. Can you hear the skepticism and frustration in my tone? I really don't mean to be like that, but as I told Patty in an email, it's really hard to keep my own spirits up when I hear so much negativity from Mom (a natural complainer), Dad (who's picking it up from her), and Tim's constant venting about work issues, not to mention this time of year. I've got to find someone to get out with more often and to get my spirits back up. I try to be positive for everyone else and it leaves nothing for me. I'm sure you all can identify with that. So, still don't know how I'll spend the bulk of the day. It's tempting to crawl back into bed, but I won't.

JZ-Deb, have fun at the Zumba event. I think I'll take the Thursday evening master class with Jani Roberts next Thursday evening. My instructor said she wants to also. Tanya Beardsley is so busy doing things in NY and with Beto that she can't make it. I noticed she is pictured on the right on the new Zumba Fitness home page and on the right on the Zumba gear page. Two women in class had on the black cargo pants they sell (Black is sold out.) and they looked really good. They're not inexpensive.

OK, onward to face the day!

Obviously the morning has passed and we are into the afternoon now. I was up at 7:00 to get Rob and Bill going, checked the time my groceries were scheduled for delivery and since they were not going to arrive until the 11:00 - 1:00 slot I opted to get back under my blanket. Well I drifted off and slept until 10:00. I finished cleaning the bathroom, top to bottom. Does anyone else get naked in the bathroom and do a cleaning frenzy and finish it off with a shower for herself? Sorry if too graphic! I find the bathroom gets spotless that way and I usually go crazy like that every 2 or 3 weeks as needed. We all are still sniffling and coughing a bit around here which really stinks. Peapod arrived around noon and so did my husband with a hot cup of Chia tea from Starbucks..........just love that man sometimes, lol. The washer is going and the rest of the groceries still need to be put away. I have my hair in a pony tail and I am waiting for my younest sister to get down to Long Island and drop her dog off at my moms house. Then she is heading here and she is going to come with me to the gym and we plan on walking together on the track. Katie just left with my MIL, who is treating her to have her hair done. I think Katie is getting her side bangs recut and having them do curls in her hair for tonight. She is very excited about her dinner/dance award, and I am looking forward to it too. I am sure I told you that Bill is not going and we are taking me sister instead. A girls night out and I think we will enjoy ourselves much more. Dancing and stuff, the guys tend to just sit at the tables..........at least mine do. Well I need to finish up here and change the sheets on Katie's bed so Aunt Sharon can sleep there tonight. It is very chilly here but not freezing. Not sure what the weather is tonight, I guess I should watch. Stay healthy and warm everyone and have a good Saturday!
