Everybody must be out partying, I guess. The board has been pretty quiet lately. How did your Saturday turn out?

I pretty much vegged out during the chilly, overcast, and damp day today. It was not a work in the yard kind of day. Tim suggested a change to our plans and I agreed it would work well. He ended up coming home at 3 for us to nap a while, then we left around 6 to go to Olive Garden for dinner. It was packed! We had to wait 40 minutes for a table. I got their new chicken apricot dish with veggies, and it was good. Instead of going to the movies, we decided to rent two. We tried to get the one that has the Rock in it as a football player who finds out he has a daughter, but it was all out. We got 2 very different ones -- "Super Bad" and "The Bourne Ultimatum". I'm not a fan of high intensity action movies, but Tim really wants to see it. I wanted something to make us laugh. We also got gas on the way home and paid "only" $2.97.9. That is an improvement from last time. Are gas prices going down in other areas of the country?

Had an email from Mom when we got home. Dad did really well with physical therapy today, which always makes me happy. I'm seeing that Obama is projected to win SC tonight. Can't say I'm unhappy about that. ;-) Our turn comes Tuesday.

Hope everyone has a pleasant evening.

Pretty much a trying to cram a work week full of housework into a couple of hours. Pretty much a typical Saturday around here. I took Otto out for a late afternoon walk which was nice although it would have been nice if the sun had made an appearance. It was in the low 30's so not too bad for dog walking activities. I came home and made an interesting dinner with pork tenderloin, apple, dried cranberries and sweet potato and an interesting variety of spice. It was supposed to have butternut squash instead of the sweet potato but didn't have any of that so decided to go with the sweet potato. DS thought it smelled like potpourri but DH and I enjoyed it. The boys then set out to the garage for work on the car. I'm taking it that things didn't exactly go as planned but then again I never have any idea what they're talking about so I don't ask questions.

I tried to plan out my menus for the week and make up my grocery list but just couldn't concentrate and I ended up pretty much asleep in front of the TV for most of the evening. Pretty wild and exciting Saturday :)!

Gas prices have dropped a bit here too. We're down to about $3.19.

It might not be the most exciting of nights... but it didn't sound bad or unpleasant. It sounds to me that we are just unwinding... Rhonda, Did you like SuperBAD?

Super Bad was fairly funny, but had EXTREMELY foul language, which I don't like. I knew it was going to have some, but wasn't prepared for how much. We did get some laughs from it, but I would have enjoyed it more without all the profanity. I ended up doing other stuff during most of the Bourne Ultimatum. I wasn't really disappointed in the night, I've just been kind of down in general lately and am
