I made myself get on the scales this morning and there is a new high. Good grief! Telling myself that on the good side this is the number that will get me in gear. And also focusing on the fact that I'm feeling my weight workouts which is good. And the fact that in less than 2 wks I'll be back at work fulltime and that will help me a lot. So all in all more positive than negative.

Good Morning,
Rainy, dreary day here today. They say the rain will be going away but it's going to be a windy day. I saw on the news this morning a scene of a waterfall from Minneapolis, MN of a frozen waterfall. Very strange looking!
Kept my date with a workout this morning. Spent some time working on that lower half that just doesn't want to change its shape!
Had a good laugh at work yesterday over a fax that came in from an ex-coworker. I'll let you guess who. It was an article about the company that she's now working for and in it she was quoted as how she loves to go to work, everyone is so cheery and how it's so nice how everyone helps one another! The point of it being sent over...not sure...I found the quote quite amusing! They can have all of that Sunshine!
Younger DD is flying to Las Vegas via Atlanta this morning for some type of business/training program. She tried to get a non stop flight out of Bradley Airport and all the non stop flights to Vegas were booked. She's happy she got some new luggage for Christmas that has wheels on it instead of lugging a suitcase through the airport and her first chance to use it.
Other DD and BF still haven't set a date. He has an idea of what he would like for a wedding but the xy&z's of what he would like aren't matching up with $. DD finally told him that he has to decide what their budget is going to be and decide what xy&z's are really needed or if he wants to spend the $ for the extras. At this rate they might be engaged for another five years!
Yesterday was such a long day at work and it seems like it should be further along in the week than Wednesday. Everyone was sort of the same feeling. Maybe it's because last week the work week started on Tuesday.
I've cooked some chicken for pulled chicken sandwiches for dinner. Tonight is a run in and out the door night for DH so this should be quick and easy. After several days of the washer and dryer being quiet Mt. Laundry has arrived once more. DS must have cleaned out his room again. I saw him with the pile last night and I was a bit fearful of opening the landry chute and being knocked unconsious with what was going to fall out of there. Washer and dryer going full force once more.
Hopefully the weather will clear and Otto and I will get out the door after dinner. Walking was canceled due to rain last night.
I guess that's about it from this neck of the woods. Wishing everyone a wonderful Wednesday!
Susan
Happy wednesday everyone!

Looks like we are on the same wave length today Patty. We both posted about goals and making them realistic and doable. Sorry about your new "high" but great job with thinking about your positives and feeling strong with the weight workouts.
I had a very strange night last night.

Stress eating sure got to me today...I can't believe I dived into those potato chips...low fat or not. Ugh! I do understand...
We are behind you in your fight to stay on track and help you stay out of that viscious cycle. It is good to hear that you are taking action already and you have a plan all mapped out. I have read over and over that if you can squeeze 10 minutes here and there in with exercise...3 ten minute segments a day...you can get the same benefits as exercising 30 minutes straight.
Good luck!
Grace
