Good Morning,

Such very wierd weather. Temperatures back in the 40's and the first time in 75 years that Central Park has had no measurable snow. I did see pictures however of an avalanche I believe in the state of Washington and smoke coming off of Lake Erie in Minnesota because of the cold. The lack of snow however is taking it's toll on businesses around here that rely on some amount of snowfall. DS, although thrilled about having an extra day off this week also realizes that it's because people aren't buying snowblowers, and with no snow there's no need for repairs. It's too early to realize your lawnmower isn't working and business is just generally really off.

Kept my appointment for an early morning workout. I also had to make sure that DH was up since he needed to be on the road and headed to NJ for work this morning. Good incentive to make sure I was up as well. I was a bit discouraged as I stepped on the scale to see that I've gained a couple of pounds. Oh well...guess I need to relook at the drawing board.

I've had a busy morning, whirling, twirling and folding laundry, got the kitchen cleaned up emptying and reloading the dishwasher and getting a casserole ready to put into the oven when I get home from work. Almost as good as having dinner in the crockpot.

Hopefully Otto will have a better walking companion tonight. I was so tired last night and knew the after dinner kitchen drudgery was on me last night and I really didn't feel like going out. But after Otto conned a 2nd dinner out of me I felt he really needed to go out and get some exercise. He was in such a pokey mood and it was cold and windy last night. I think he knew I was a bit on the cranky side.

Rhonda-so glad that your Dad is making progress. Loved the pictures of the flowers that you posted. Every once in a while Trader Joes will have bouquets of them and I love to buy them since they last really well.

Thankful-that DD had a safe flight to Las Vegas.

Thankful that our medical benefits have been paid.

Thankful for a cheery and help each other kind of office :)!

Thankful for all of you!

Off to get ready for the paying working world. Hope you all have a great day!

I am thankful that today is pay day.

I am very thankful for Xanax :).

I am thankful I have the freedom to make my own choices.

I am thankful for Price Chopper's money-off gasoline promotion (I'm up to $2.20 off / gallon)

I am thankful that I can walk to work, so the car only needs filling up once every two weeks (at the most).

I am thankful that my colleague for whom I have been doing work is not in the office right now (he's having a mini temper tantrum which includes not speaking to me or being very sarcastic if/when he does - and they say women are moody...ha).

That's it for now!

Good morning ladies. I am still home, yes still home. I was up at 6:00 and at the gym by 6:30 with Aunt Linda, that is 6 days in a row. Unfortunatly no walking today, Aunt Linda was curious about the weight machines so I really did not get a work out but I guess that is alright since I did 5 days straight. We did go on the eliptical machine for 3 minutes, weights and then for another 3 minutes eliptical. My youngest sister might be coming down this afternoon and if so we are going to do the beginer spinning class (oy). Eatting has been awsome and water too, unfortunaly the scale at WW hardly moved this week. Do not know why since I was so, so good and honest, maybe next Tuesday. The reason for me being late is that when I got home from the gym Katie told me one of my glass milk bottles burst in the frig in the patio and there was milk everywhere. So it ment cleaning the back frig top to bottom putting me late. I already told work I would be late and arrive closer to 10:00. I

Hi..

I'm off in a minute for a longer day at work.... Sorry for the slowness for those of you experiencing that at work... It's still slow at my job too but it has nothing to do with the cold... Not looking forward to these next two days... But I am going to do my best... I had a hard time getting to i-village last night so I never did get caught up on the board.. Perhaps in a few days... Debbie,
