Good Morning,
Gray and gloomy this morning with rain on the way for our first Friday of a new month.
Non exercise day for me today not that it mattered when I was awake at 4:30 but I did manage to go back to sleep for a little while. Hurray for Friday!
Nothing much going on in my little corner of the world. It will the usual 9 to 5 and then home to comfy clothes and lounging around the evening. The excitement of the day will be to see if I can stay awake until 10PM!
Karen-good luck to your DS today! And good luck to you sitting on bleachers for that length of time!
Grace-wearing my red sweater today!
Hope everyone has a fantastic, fabulous first Friday of February!
Susan
OK yesterday made day 6 at the gym.........cleaned up my mess in the back frig, showered and headed into the office at 10:15. Had a surprise visitor at 3:45, my youngest sister. She came to do the spin class with me. OMG, has anyone done those before. It was a beginner class and the instructor had lots to explain before we started to ride so we only got 15 minutes of riding done. OUCH! My butt hurts this morning. From there we came home, washed up and took Katie out to Applebee's since they have the WW menu. Both of us stayed on plan, yippie. I did get upset when I asked Sharon how she made out on Wednesday night at her weigh in she covered her face and admitted to a 3.4 pound loss...........mind I think she is skinny already but her jeans are tight. Not a good feeling when I only lost the point 4........argh. But she has been exercising like crazy on these days off from the hospital and she does not have kids or a husband around. Anyway after the spin class we walked on the treadmill for 25 minutes. Skipped this morning since she spent the night and I knew I was going to sore. I have to head into the office for a couple of hours this morning and I am bringing my gym bag with me. I will head over and walk on the treadmill even if its only for 30 minutes. Katie has a riding lesson at 4:00 and I need to cash todays paycheck......yea! Boss is complaining it is so slow and the money is really not there, scarey thing and I understand but heck it does not mean we did not work this week so he owes us. Well I better run and get done so I can get out. Have a good day ladies...........stay warm, dry............what ever is happening in your neck of the woods.

Patty, I did go to the master class last night and she was awesome, as always. I was wishing you guys could be there. Believe it or not, she was recovering from a migraine the day before with loss of sight, nausea, the whole 9 yds. (first one in 15 years), was having her period, and had a fever and a sore throat, but she still outdanced us all!! My instructor was there and so were 3 others. I've started seeing a new young woman the last couple of classes who's obviously of Hispanic background and she is a super dancer. It's really fun to watch her. It doesn't hurt that she's in great shape too.
I paid for my ticket to see Beto in March. Jani had some very cute tops, but they were all tank style, and she had the black Zumba pants. I almost tried some on. I found out the Zumba pants at their site are based on ones that she sells. The ones I really liked were the bright turquoise ones (almost the color of her eyes) by UFO she had on, so I had to check out their website. The Zumba instructors wear various types of baggy pants, sometimes cargo, and often camouflage here. Their tops are close fitting and sometimes midriff baring, although the ones from S. FL are more likely to bare their midriffs. She did towards the end of the class. She's the one I call The Lion of Zumba, because of her long red hair, intensity, and almost spiritual quality about some of her moves. Sometimes when she leaps she looks like a ballerina or ice skater -- what height off the ground! She has a yoga, dance, singing, acting, and life coach background. It was so good that I think I'll go to the one tonight that's about 15 miles from me. Rush hour traffic is a bear at that location, but it would be worth it. She is very funny and entertaining too. At one point she had the class divided in half and we ended up doing sort of a dance-off like when you've been "served". It was really fun. She led one side and the woman who's a good dancer sort of ended up leading us.
I have a dermatologist appt. this morning to check out the place on my back and a few others, then I've decided even though it's not a day I'm scheduled to go see Dad that I'm going to. With the days swapped with Mom it would make 3 days away for me, and when I talked to him last night he said he was really hoping I'd come today. His brother should be there too.
Mom and Dad decided to take the private room for him. Hurray! I can help make sure everything gets moved, and if they drag their feet to move him, I'll just move him myself as I did last time.
It's overcast again today. Susan, thanks for reminding me to wear red. I have on exercise pants and socks and am taking my dance sneakers, but I have a wear with thin white horizontal stripes every so often long sleeved tee on too. Hope it won't be too hot tonight for class.
I'll have to catch up on posts tonight or I'll be late for my appt. I'd love to make a good new start this month too. Have a great day everyone!

Oh, Karen...I have done that numerous times with both boys being wrestlers. Those two day tournaments are killers. Thankfully we never had a 3 hours drive to one. (Unless you want to count the drive from Long Island to Buffalo when older DS made the Empire State games...9 hour ride!) Bring those magazines in with you...it is really long waiting for DS's turn to wrestle. GOOD LUCK TO DS!!
Thank you for wearing RED!
Grace
