So sorry you are sick again or still sick Judy! I have to say, this virus is nasty. I still don't have my energy back and DH ended up going to the doctor because he got worse after about 2 weeks. He got the flu shot in the fall and is supposed to be the healthy one. I don't know why he bothers with that flu shot. He was sicker than I was!
Kind of tired to see the beauty today. Just can't shake off the pooped feeling since being sick. However, I am thankful I am still getting through the classes and thankful when I hear others moan in the classes. I know that sounds terrible, but at least I know I am not the only one! I do appreciate the simple things around me like a new dryer. ;-)
Thankful for the really nice baby shower that was thrown yesterday for younger DD at her school. She got those every day things you need for a new baby and never have enough of, plus group presents from her registry. She was so surprised. Thankful her co workers think so highly of her. They all told me they are going to miss her while she is out.
Taught my class today but I couldn't stay for the cardio of the class following mine. I think I did enough so far this week, so I gave myself off for good behavior. I did do 8 classes so far this week and one was yoga yesterday. I did the front splits and the instructor could not believe I was really all the way down in a split on both sides. She had to tell me the Indian based story of a mythical character that jumped the sea in a split positiion. Nice of her to share that with me. She hopes I keep taking the yoga. I have to say...it really is feeling good and it gets better each time I take it.
Sorry about not getting here yesterday but with DD here with the granddaughters, it was crazy and then I was too tired to come by after they left.
Thankful for all the little darlings...all 8 & 3/4's for them. Saw the teacher/friend who is pg with twins yesterday and the doc is saying it could be anytime even though she is due March 29th. I better get busy with those crocheted blankets.
Hi there nuts! Welcome to the FOF board. You will find that after a few posts you will become addicted to this place. It is really a great group of woman from all over the US that are all over that wonderful age of 40 who are striving for a healthier self. Everyone is so friendly, supportive and encouraging of each other. Some of us have gotten together (twice now) and have extended our friendships to offline. Do you have a first name and would you mind sharing it? I am Deb (former co-cl) and I am from Long Island, New York. I am 46 (soon to be 47, ouch that hurts just saying it, next month) and a mother of 3 too. I have 2 sons ages, 23 & 18 and my daughter is 14). I also work part time but is becoming more full time as a legal assistant. We look forward to getting to know you better.
I guess Peanut it is! Good for you for your attempts at being consistent. That is important. I wish I could say the same. If I had I would not be in the situation I am in today..............about 35 pounds over weight. Welcome aboard!
