How did your day go? Was it a good start to the week?

Pretty good start to the week for me. Workout was accomplished, eating was very good and consumed lots of H2O.

The workday passed fairly quickly until about 3:30 when I go into my workday slump and can't wait for the workday to be over. Dinner was turkey sausage calzones. They were really good along with some sauteed spinach and a big salad for me.

My boss didn't have such a good day. He got a call from his wife that their house had been broken into. That must be an awful feeling and a horrible experience to come home to. He went running from the office to get home after the phone call.

DD is feeling a little better. She still sounds terrible and she made an appointment with her regular doctor for Wednesday morning. She decided to stay at the BF's and not come out into the bitter cold. I think she was actually a little homesick! I know he's taking good care of her but I think she misses Mom!

Dog walking was postponed due to cold weather. I really don't think I have anything that was going to keep me warm enough to even tempt me to go out in the cold, dark and windy night. The XY's seem to have a mood going on-probably including the dog since he hasn't been out on a walk since last Wednesday. I feel bad but not that bad.

I'm a bit tuckered out as my Grandma used to say and I'm looking forward to a quiet evening. I still have the kitchen to clean up but that will have to wait until DH does the dishes.

That's about it from this neck of the woods. Hope you've all had a good day.

Day went pretty well but now I'm ready to crash again! I was busy last night trying to get the songs I picked out onto the new, first mp3 player. DH had it plugged into the pc so I just had to plug into the player and follow directions. It's supposed to show up in 'my computer" and wasn't there.

Actually glad the day is almost over, I am exhausted. I slept good last night but I am still exhausted. Never made it to the gym yesterday or this morning, missing my partner and no one to push me made me come up with all the excuses. I might have thought different if it was not so cold out and if Aunt Flo was a little more coopertive. She is nasty again this month making me wish for that sonogram appointment to get here (it is next Tuesday). Then next month I can get the Meridian placed and hopefully slow her down some. Work was crazy, the phones never stopped and I hardly got any of my work done. I have a file that is closing next week and I still have to send the documents down to the client in Florida to be signed, notorized and returned. Looks like that package won't go out now until Wednesday since I won't be in tomorrow. Got out of there at 5:30 and ran to the deli for a 1/2 pound of american cheese since dinner was homemade chicken soup (made yesterday) and grilled cheese and salad. Need the cheese to make the grilled cheese, right? Got home just as Peapod showed up to deliver my groceries. Unpacked and put away all the stuff while warming up the pot of soup. Katie decided to visit next door, Billy disappeared and Rob is at school until 10:00PM so it was just Bill and I for dinner. Dishes were cleaned up and I watched a few episodes of What Not To Wear and now Bill has control of the TV set. I am heading upstairs in a minute to get under the covers because I am walking tomorrow come h*ll or high water. I also will be driving MIL into the city for her preop tests since she is scheduled for her surgery next Tuesday. Found out that my mom has a lump/mass on her breast she failed to tell me about and today she went to a surgeon and she will be going into the hospital to have that removed within the next few weeks. Gosh, scarey stuff going on around here. It looked like this was a very quiet board today, hope all is well with everyone.

Sorry to hear you are having so much trouble with AF...hope the sonogram will show something and give you an idea of how to make it easier.

So sorry too to hear about your Mom and MinL. Boy...double header! You know, mom's just do that kind of stuff...keep secrets from their kids not to worry them. Prayers for all...
