Sorry no words of inspiration...just a hello, how are you and what's on the agenda for the day?

Good Morning,

A balmy 17 degrees this morning and the wind seems to have subsided. We are expecting some kind of snow/freezing rain/rain thing that is supposed to start this afternoon into tomorrow. But for now the skies are blue and the sun is shining. How long it lasts...well we'll see if the weather predictors are correct.

I seem to be dragging a bit this morning. I was awake about 3:45 and then feel back into a deep sleep. Never really heard the alarm and woke up late. I probably would have convinced myself to skip my workout but Otto was scratching on the door to go out so that was my incentive to get up and stay up and head down to the basement. Unfortunately even my AM dose of caffeine doesn't seem to be making that draggy feeling go away.

The typical work day. I do hope the workday passes quickly. Courts are closed in observance of Lincoln's birthday and after realizing that phone calls that should have been made about our court calendar for tomorrow weren't made. Not sure how that's going to work out.

Not much going on around here. Had to work around a mood of DH's last night. Trying some of the therapist's suggestions to get through these times.

Li-Deb-Thoughts and prayers for your Mom and your MIL. MIL is having another surgery? Hope you're feeling better.

Patty-thoughts and prayers for your sister. Hope things are starting off well with the new flock.

Judy-hope you're feeling better.

Lori-ankle any better?

Thinking of you all and hope that the day treats you well.

Good morning, everyone!

I'm enjoying the sunshine this morning, even if the temperatures don't match it.

HI, Susan...I was awake at 3:30 and unlike you, did not get back to sleep. I think I was stressing over teaching that step class this morning.

I am not looking forward to the weather that is being forecasted. I would prefer straight snow to the mix. I hope it isn't bad tomorrow morning since I have the GO RED luncheon at the Crest Hollow Country Club at 10:00.

Thanks for starting the Tuesday "howdy" post...

I am not exactly a dog lover, but that beagle UNO sure is cute! I do hope he wins best in show because he looks like a real dog, if you know what I mean. An everyday type of dog who would be great with kids. Too bad you couldn't go on that trip to NYC. I would have loved to meet up with you too since the train goes right into Penn Station right under the Garden.

I got a taste of what walking in Boston in the winter is like, so I sympathize. Don't know how you do it every day. I got a shiver just thinking about it.

Sorry about you back and your cough. I seemed to have miss that post...this board is just so busy and my head is usually in a fog. Hope you feel better soon and you are so right that coughing is a great ab workout.

Stay warm...

That makes 3 of us so far dragging today. I have been dragging for days however. Hopefully I will snap out of it.

That program for DS is a good idea. One DS here had to take a reading precollege course simultaneously with his regular courses. He always had a reading comprehension problem even though he was great in math and science. He even went into genetics for a career. So, going in the summer might be a really good idea to get a head start.

Sounds like you are moving along with the kitchen.

Yes I can attest to the fact that it was cold in ND over the weekend.
