Crazy weather it is indeed. I want to wear my sweats to work but I am afraid it would not go over big. I need to find some comfortable and warm stuff since it is miserable out there today. No walk today since I need to head into the office in a little bit. Bed is already made, washer and dryer are on their second batches, I have already showered and had my morning tea and cereal. My work bag is packed with my lunch and I think I will just stay put at lunch time if this rain continues like they are talking. Work all day then home............nothing more then that. Dinner is left overs from our Sunday meal, can not get any easier then that. Actually I think I will make some chili tonight...................never mind I think I will do nothing tonight. Thanks for the thoughts on Mom and MIL now you ladies have me stressed, I wasn't before, but I guess I should be. Bad daughter, the doctors made it sound like it was nothing to really worry about but now I am not so sure. I need to call her today and check in. Well better run I need to go over some stuff with my boss early before the morning cr*p starts in our office. Have a good day ladies!

Good Morning,

Wild and weird does pretty much describe the weather at the moment. We had snow yesterday and freezing temperatures and just enough snow to coat the roads with a slick glaze that made driving hazardous. Now it's turned to rain and lots of it with expected flooding and temperatures back up into the 40's. The heavy rain has already cause the water to once again come up over our front curbs which means I'm going to get soaked just crossing the street to get to my car. Of course my umbrella is in my car as well.

Another day where I just feel like I'm dragging myself around. Slept past the alarm again but did manage to get up and down to the basement for a decent workout. I don't know whether it's the weather or just one of those times that I go through periodically where I'm just feel plain old exhausted. I came home from work yesterday and just couldn't wait until I was able to sit in a chair and pretty much collapse. I find myself struggling to stay awake past 8PM.

DD in MA called yesterday to let me know her BF's mom had gone to the hospital the previous evening with chest and back pains. Although they kept her overnight they dismissed any type of heart issue. After consulting with her regular doctor they admitted her to a different hospital, ran tests and she ended up having a stent put in yesterday afternoon. She didn't know anything more than that and whether in fact she had suffered a heart attack. Just so scary.

Other DD is still home from work and scheduled to see her regular doctor today. She still looks and sounds awful and I think this was something either along with bronchitis or not bronchitis at all. I'm hoping they can give her something to suppress this terrible cough. She's not sleeping well and just looks completely wiped out. It seems that whatever this is that's affecting everyone takes a really long time to recover from.

Patty-thinking of your sister today and hope all goes well with her surgery.

Li-Deb-I can certainly relate to your trip home from NYC yesterday. Prayers and good thoughts for your mom and mil.

Donna-how are you feeling? Sounded like you were suffering from some of the nasty gunk of the season.

Hope everyone that's been under the weather is feeling better soon. It's really been a miserable winter for illness.

Thinking of you all!

Hi Susan,

I'm with you on dragging around. Don't know if I'm trying to fight off something, sinuses seem to be acting up now but Friday I just started dozing off and that was around 7:30 and dh finally quit the tape we were watching cause I couldn't stay awake. Then I slept till 7 am Sat and would probably have been longer if DH hadn't come in and asked me If I still wanted to get up at 7:30!

I've been in the midst of a pity party and didn't want to interrupt my festivities by posting. ;-) I think I'm coming out of it somewhat. Working with my mom and dad about the condo has been incredibly frustrating, to say the least. I've been overwhelmed with negativity and had to sequester myself away from it as much as possible.

Wild is a good word for today...

it was 50 degrees when I left for work at 7:00 this morning, and is now exactly half that - with the wind blowing fiercely and temperatures dropping all day.
