How did your week start out?
It's been a pretty wild day here. About 5 minutes before I left to go to the Y, I started getting an optical migraine. Since the blind spots usually go away in about 20 minutes and don't cause terrible pain, I decided to go ahead to class. I drove up there in spite of the blind spots. If I had been as badly impaired as I used to be I couldn't have done it. So, they went away and I just had a little headache hangover and thought it would be OK to work out. I did the 15 minutes ABS class, which wasn't too bad, but when I got into the Zumba class I started feeling really worse. By the time it was over, I knew there was no way I could stay for the Flexx-It class, so I left.
While we'd been in class the bottom had dropped out outside and we had torrential rains. There was another tornado watch. I ran to the car and discovered one of my cycling gloves on the ground, which I'd apparently dropped on the way in. I am so spacey! Hope someone found the other and turned it in. It was hard to see driving home and when I got to the main road out towards our house the rain was coming down so hard and the water was splashing up in sheets from the deep water I had to ride through, so at times I coudln't see at all for a second or two. It seemed like a lot longer at the time. I guess this was the rain that was supposed to hit yesterday. Glad they had a beautiful day for the Daytona 500, but I sure wouldn't want to be in that mass migration north in that kind of weather today. I was also relieved to be up in an SUV and not in a low vehicle. Later, the sun came out a while, but it's overcast again.
I got home and took a shower, washed my hair, took some medicine, and went straight to bed. Tim came home to nap too. He said he's going back to work tonight, but he's going to get a late start, if he does. I rested for several hours then got up and skimmed the pool

Rhonda sounds like you had some day today I hope you ate feeling better. We had rain like that the other day and it down poured again here today a few times. Warmer temps then we are used to so I won't complain all that much. I have not gotten here since Saturday, I think. The days get blurred together sometimes. If I do not post each morning I loss track.
Lets see, Friday night Katie had a friend spend the night and they stayed together until 3:00 on Saturday. She really enjoyed that so that made me happy. Ran to the butcher and picked up my roast for Sunday dinner. Ordered a whole leg of lamb boned and tied.......meat cost me $72.00, ouch! But I invited Bill's dad and mom and Aunt Linda (MIL's sister) and her husband Uncle John. Back to Saturday for a moment. After Katie's friend Katie left she went next door and went shopping with Maureen (the mom) because she had been invited to go to a hockey game. They were leaving at 5:30 and

Today was such a wasted day for me.

Karen you made me laugh about your mom's wedding.....oops your wedding. Actually mine was right of of the late 70's early 80's.....pastel colored rainbow with the guys wearing gray tux's with matching ruffles on their shirts. First came my maid of honor in sky blue, then my sister in law in yellow (this was closest thing I could get), then my girlfriend in lavender, next girlfriend in seafoam green, then my baby sister in pink! I should dig up a picture and scan it, you guys would get a good laugh!

Hi Rhonda, I think you got the tail end of that big storm that tornadoed it's way through Alabama and Georgia.

Cute outfit and that fabric is great for trips. I'm a Chico's fan too, but I have so many of their bright print Tees that I don't think I need anymore. I love their black sweater knit pants. I have 3 pairs that have become like a uniform for me when I want to dress nicer than jeans.
When I was riding a bike a lot and before I got my Townie, I found that the padded bike shorts helped me a lot more than a gel seat. I don't know why, but they did. They're really only for riding, but I guess it keeps the padding right where it's supposed to be.

I did some reading about your mother's condition and it appears to have a good prognosis. I will continue to keep her in my prayers.
You had a very productive day with your housework and your exercise. What kind of dancing did you do? We may make a Zumba convert out of you yet. :-) I posted a YouTube link with 3 videos on it a few days ago.
